i think i'm allergic to booze
seriously... i had 4 beers over the course of 4 hours last night and i feel like shit today. wtf?!
i even ate good and made sure to drink a lot of water yesterday, thinking that would help, but it didn't. i'm glad i don't drink like i used to, but the fact that i feel like shit even after i drink a few beers makes me want to quick drinking entirely.
You're getting old, sesame tits.
lol
i actually know several people who are seriously allergic to alcohol. they get all blotchy and red in the face and neck as soon as they even have a few sips. hahah that must suck!

Try taking Milk Thistle
It'll increase the liver enzymes to help your liver filter out your blood.
I know a guy who starts to feel sick after half of a beer.

I can't drink like I used to either. But I don't really care to anyways...I'm getting old and my priorities are shifting. My interest in getting shit faced is slim to none now. Eek!
actually now that i think about it... maybe it's because i was drinking Guinness. is that stuff any worse for your body than regular or light beers?
i feel old.
Okay and back off topic:
Lucid, your discussions always revolve back to bagels.

Take 3 advils or ibuprofens before going to bed after drinking all nite.
You'll wake up nicely refreshed, and even forget you drank like a fish
the nite before.
Either that, or eat a raw cucumber like they do in the old country

sugar, taurine, carbonation, and caffeine all increase absorption rates. Eating carbs turns them into sugar in your stomach. High protein foods lower rates. Doing the wrong combo after a long absence wont help.
But. its what I tell people "If you want to have a crazy party saturday, start drinking thursday"
you need to ramp up to drinking. I bet if you had 4 beers the next night and the next after that, by 3rd night youd be drinking 8 and feeling better than you did first night.
Although feeling sick off 4 is probably your body telling you alcohols bad
Guiness isn't exactly a light beer...on the stomach or a light beer in general, obviously. i'm sure that's what it was.
guinness is a 3.5 % ABV, less than your average ale. 1 pint of guinness has .96 of the total alcohol amount a 12oz budweiser does. It "feels" heavy due to large iron content. Its lack of carbonation (the reason for the widget, Guinness doesnt like to hold carb) makes it doubly smooth and easy to drink.

My friend was just on a business trip to Dublin and he brought back a bunch of Guinness. He swears it's waay better than what you can buy in the states. I can't wait to try it tonight

and yes im saying take a pitcher and smooth that bite
and Guinness is more dehydrating than the others for pretty much the same reason others are. Long period of consuming alcohol without drinking water and eating food. Alcohol, even in low amounts, IS a diuretic.
