Nalin & Kane - Open Your Eyes
From Oakies Home @ Space 99 EM...
Jan Johnston - Flesh 2000 (DJ Tiesto remix)
i had been into BT before that but that was the tune that demostrated the power of trance to me. specifically EDM trance.
2 unlimited get ready for this/Children
Then probably the tracks like silence & dido on Gatecrasher - Global sound system

i guess children. can't stand it now
although i think the track that actually prompted me to look beyond the charts/daytime radio for music was cafe del mar 98
Dunno if its really trance...but Holden & Thompson - Nothing [93 Returning Mix] is probably one of my all time favorites...memories from Ferry Live @ Spundae CD...
2 Players - Signet
Was long into electronica in the 90's, but it was Moby's Everything is Wrong. First time I actually saw images and felt like flying away when I heard the music. I seriously think I had a religious moment the first time I listened to it. Love trance.....
"1998"
Blank & Jones - Summer Sun
Bedrock - Heaven Scent
Mauro Picotto - Lizard
PVD - For An Angel

The first trance track I heard was probably Pulp Victim - The World '99, but the track that never dies for me has to be either The Quest - C Sharp or Veracocha - Carte Blanche. I can't hear them enough, and I can't turn them up loud enough.

ATB - Dont Stop
Still one of my favorite tracks, reminds me of simpler times.
The first track I became enamoured with when I entered the Trance world (pre that would be too big a hassle to try and determine) was
Balearic Bill - Destination Sunshine
I can't remember exactly, but Nothing But You really made me open my eyes. I actually woke up to it on a sunny morning, and man.. was it good to be alive or what?
ATB - Beach Vibes by EFF ... a friend show me and this change everything forever ... I thought that songs thus did not exist ... I think the year is 1999 very close to 2000
... but it is not my fav
Edited: Beach Vibes not, the real first Tune that i listened was Finished Symphony in the first SSX, a Snowboard game for PS2, but in that time i thought this tune was made only for the game, and this is in my top 3 of all time
