How Did You.. Get To Know About TranceAddict.com?
i was bored of other forums and thought, yeah.. why not try and find a forum of my fav music?.. so i searched in google for trance forums and this one was the best in the list. how about you?

an old member here (xfilter300) introduced me. We were both producers but I only posted on www.reasonstation.net, and he told me to check out TA. This is a great forum.
another member turned me on to it.
Back in 2000 from downloading trance mp3s from napster, it had tranceaddict.com in the id3 so i checked this place out and signed up.
And yes the irony is not lost on me, how things have changed in the last 6 years, TA used to activly promote mp3 sharing and now its the other way around, i guess that shows how TA has matured (with the exception of the CORe of course 
)
A friend told me. Funnily enough he doesn't really post at all.
Through a friend who also doesn't post.
Whilst on Napster, I was downloading a track off a guy and he pm'd me & told me about TA, he was one of the earliest members (username now = Kurve i think) and after using it for a while to grab videos & tracks, I finally got the courage to sign up for the forums. the rest is history
i was a member on the DI.fm forums for a long time, and i think i initially found the Midwest forum on TA because i was looking for events in Chicago and i was gonna go see Armin for the first time... so i signed up and for a while all i did was read/post in the MWTA forum, then i eventually found my way to the c0r.
3 years later and TA has consumed my life

my ex ex from a long time ago was a member of this dorky shit on irc...lots of pirated software type of crap. i forget the name of the chatroom, but it was like top secret! haha maybe 10 guys in there chatting all the time about god knows what...anyway, one of them was trying to help me find a tracklist for this old tiesto set and he showed me tranceaddict. i was in the tranceaddict irc chatroom months before i even discovered the actual website. hahah i had no clue, i thought it was just a chatroom.
