UFC 60: Gracie vs. Hughes
Most anticipated mixed martial arts match in a very long time. Is anyone else as pumped for this as I am?
Whats your prediction?
Hughes will knock out the old man in round 2. Royce may be a legend but this is the new UFC and Hughes is too strong for him.
hughes is going to EAT HIM!
I was always a gracie fan, but I dont think he has it for this fight.
And lost all respect for Gracie when he used Kimo's "pony tail" to win that fight. Plus his style is pretty boring. No doubt that winning 4 matches in one night and beating guys twice his size is impressive. But the legend will be pounded!
My vote: Royce pulls it out in the 3rd round by submission!
I actually think matts going to take it in the second round. Not by submission (even though that would be sweet) but by good old punching the ass gracie in the face!!! matts strongr then royce by far. when matt wins gracie will cry like a baby!
Gracie WILL win!!!!!!!!

Anyone who steals a fight from my man deseserves to get his ass kicked.
However, Hughes has youth on his side, and Gracie ain't no Randy Couture either. It's very against Gracie's odds given he's almost 40 and hasn't fought UFC in 11 years. He recent cross-trasing in Thai boxing's not going to help. So my money's unfortunately on Hughes.
^^^ haha...that "win" over Newton was definitely pretty sketch...but his 2nd win certainly was not
I think Hughes is going to win by KO or TKO (ref stoppage).
Respect to the Gracie clan, but Royce hasn't fought much lately and unless he's *really* improved the non-BJJ part of his game, I think he's going to have a really hard time dealing with Hughes' power and wrestling skills.
anyone know any bars in the downtown/mid town area that is going to be showing ufc 2morro night?
thanks
go to wingporium its on islington
Gracie's definitely the underdog. Nevertheless, I am watching this for sure!
Hopefully this match isn't a disappointment like the Arlovski fight, that was just...
I'm thinking Hughes takes it in the second round. Although whether it'll be by submission or knock-out i'm not quite sure. Knockout would be cool though
I just can't see Gracie submitting Hughes.
gracies been fighting in japan for the last couple of years...but not that often
gracie by submission... or hughes by KO
I'm definitely watching it (before heading out to see Mr. Halliwell LOL). Although I have to say, I was more excited by the previous one. But whatever, UFC is always exciting!
Gracie got PWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWNNNNNNNNNNNNED
ya but at least not by submission
i was watching Cradle To the Gave with Jet Li and DMX on channel 36. And at one point Jet Li goes to fight in the ring and all these UFC guys jump out at him. And of course he pure beats teh shit out of all of them quicktime. But then Tito Hortez comes out and Jet Li can't beat him so be kicks him in the balls!!!
Matt hugh's total domination out there, almost had a submission then ground and pound for the victory.

that fight was shit. the payperview was horrible. the only two good fights were the last 2 undercards. those were 2 massive knockouts. man spencer fisher's flying knee tpo the jaw was incredible. and that knockout punch WOW even tho that match was so set up lol
