DjConfessions goes to XMen The Last Stand

oh my god, what a rollercoaster of a movie. and i'm not talking about like "WOW." I was like WOW then ZZZZZ then WOW then ZZZZ, i thought i was going to go bipolarer with my emotions being played with
I saw the movie last night at the midnight premier with a SHITLOAD of fans. 4 Screens were playing at at the theater I went to and all 4 shows were sold out. i saw a few xmen shirts, but I didn't see any customes. Anyways, they let us in at 10pm and I was bored out of my mind cus I got really tired of listening to Ferry Corsten on my shuffle for two hours.

Anyways the movie. I think it was the very last movie because quite a few key characters died and had their heads cut off, but the last 20 seconds of the movie makes you think otherwise. I thought the movie itself was pretty boring except the last quarter. A lot of it was just talking without any suspense. But the actions scenes were great and used a lot of the mutants powers with innovation, especially the girl who could walk through things.
But i mean, there was so much talk about diplomacy with the politicians and Beast.
It was just a rollercoaster of excitement and boredom. I definently liked the previous two better, especially X2. It's a matinee at best, $10 is too much

i got large popcorn and large coke. Free refills too. but that didn't make anything better. I had to take a piss when it came time for magneto is do his thing with the golden gate bridge

Ok. I went to the premiere on Friday morning (11:59pm / 12:00am showtime) I felt a little cheated after watcing the movie, because it was only an 1 1/2 hours, and not much character development. However, there was a lot of action and excitement. I loved and hated the movie. CLICK HERE to read the spoilers, if you want to know to read my small synopsis on the movie .

The movie starts off with the proverbial flashback when Magneto and Professor X were good friends. They are going to the then young Jean Grey's house, and try to recruit her for the then Professor X's new mutant school. They start talking and mumble jumble. There is an introduction to Warren Worthington III (Archangel), and how he dealt with his powers. Very emo.

Mystique (Rebecca Romijn) looked quite sexy, and even sexier outside the Mystqiue costume when she was sitting with the feds at the end of the movie. The "flash" chic looked nice with her stud on the bottom of her lip. Juggernaut was awesome, but i found it semi-lame for the writers stealing a Dave Chapelle line (I'm bitch !). The multiple bodies guy was awesome. I would love to do that.

Colossus's parts in the film were very scant. Not much of Jubilee either. I don't remember even seeing the chic. Rogue was barely in the film. Wolverine and Storm (Jackman and Storm) hogged up the film. Cyclops died too early in the film. Jean Grey / Phoenix was awesome. They did an awesome job making her look devilsh.

Magneto moving the Golden Gate Bridge was awesome. The fight sequence at the end was too short. The humans are stupid for trying to fight with Magneto's Brotherhood .

At the end, i want to hear everyone's thoughts. Does Magneto still have his powers ? I say yes . And who stuck around until "after the credits" ? Professor X is BACK BABY !!!!!

I was spending the night at a friend's house on saturday to watch an NBA game and then we saw the movie at the theater on a 12:40am showing. The movie was awesome, I thought it was way better then X2, It had many great moments. Did anyone else catched R Lee Ermey's cameo as the voice of the sargant durring the scene with the soldiers arming there weapons, That was totally an unespected surprise, Anyways, Also be sure to stay durring the ending credits for a surprise ending. Highlight here to read. The ending was a shot inside a hospital with a man on the bed and with Moirra Mctaggert, The man on the bed wakes up and calls to Moirra and it turns out to be the voice of Prof X.

not to sound like a complete dork, but is gambit in the movie? he was my favorite x-man.

i thought it was alright

im glad beast made an appearance and it was great when he cut loose at the end 'oh my stars and garters'

i didn't think it was as good as X2, but it was still a nice movie. however when i was watching it i didn't really find myself becoming too engrossed by the plot, i was just watching it for more crazy special effects.
