nice bassline, the guitar works well..good melody, the shuffled kick there is pretty useless imo..(kick sounds a bit flat also maybe) with vocals and some other parts im sure this track will turn out sounding very good..

Nice freaking chillax tune. Great guitar and relaxing vibe. nice balance of all the elements to make for a smooth track. Suena de Poca Madre CAbron!. Beto aka Clownx aka Dao

Que paso wey

Man what a nice song, so great feeling there with the fusion of guitar and the rest of the sounds, I guess this could do perfect to start a nice soft tribal or soft progr. trance set. Keep it up marika.

Peace...

great song, prolly the best i've heard from you... sounds are all rich and warm, nothing synthetic sounding here, very organic. The piano isn't really necessary here, imo. the guitar could use a bit of delay or maybe reverb to let it sit into the mix better.

what are all these shows on your myspace... do you DJ?

Posted by kopi_luwak on May-27-2006 20:22:

Thanks for the feedback, Gracias marikas!
Ethereal, thanks for the feedback dude, no, I am not Dj, I do my live acts using my laptopn, an oxygen 8 and some hardware, playing my house music , next year I will go to USA with Sam Mollison so keep tuned!
About the delay on the guitar, I am trying to get the less of effects posible on it because the vocals will have tons of reverb and half step delay mate , maybe that's why it sounds that dry for u .
Static Blue, get over it dude, whatever you have to tell me do it by email or PM, dont be childish.

Keep it up dude!! wow vocals by Marcie? then It will be GOOOOOOD.

mixdown sounds a little muddy. Highs to be brought out a bit and the kick is a bit to muddy.
Great pads and fx , really nice.
Piano isn't bad, fix the track pretty well, but again everything is sounding really muddy for some reason. not sure the bitrate on myspace????
not to much change but i guess its just a sample, this track is smooth as hell though.
keep it up!

Hey Kopi

Nice bassline, very chill-out sounding track you have here. Guitar is very cool, what did you use to do that? I don't really like the piano too much to be honest, like Ethereal I don't think it's necessary.
Wow short clip!
Should be a great track with vocals added

Ricky

Thanks guys, Ricky, hehe I dont know you guys find bad the piano I think it is a good fill! ;D
Rogers, it is myspace player mate, sorry, the myspace player is really muddy, that's why you find the tune without bright, once I finish adding the vocals I will post a longer clip in Hi Fi .

hey kopi, reviewing as i listen.. the background effect is quite nice in the beginning with the congo sounding effect... 1:00 the guitar is very chilling.. really like it with the pads your using. the quick kick snairfills are placed well. the guitar has a touch of emotion.. i like it. 2:20 WTF its fading away... i want to hear the full version good job mate

melodically it IS good, kopi, i think what we're trying to say is that it sounds a bit cheesy once you add the piano... just clarifying my point

in the end it's style vs style, all the best

very progressive sounding. could work well at a start of a set.

very ncie produced as expected, bongo drums and kick are nicely fitted in the mix

guitar i love, what vst is that?

i think the problem with the piano is that it doesnt fit with the guitar. i think it competes for the most interesting sound.

should be nice with vocals.

nice job mate!

nice web site. slick package.
very sexy groove to the tune. i like the guitar thing, feelin' george benson. the people i know are really to ugly to listen to this music. see, this music gets people naked. no one wants to see ugly people naked. so they are not allowed to listen to this music.
but if i were at a party of beautiful people in nice clothes, i imagine this is what they are listening to. and grooving on it. i'm sort of rambling now, but anyway, i enjoyed the tune.

very dreamy. sounds very sharp and lush. well constructed chillout. nice energy.

thanks for sharing.

Indeed, very soothing.

and yeah, nice myspace

Hi my mexican friend. This sounds good, I feel the vocals is missing atm
and it sounds kinda empty , some complain about the Piano/guitar but I feel its good where it is. and as you know the Myspace player isnt the best so I cant really tekll about the quality but from here tje kick sounds very flat and dry.

If you can make this sound better than Far and Away your the man.
