Gerrard and Lampard are great. Terry, whatever. Rooney is almost as overrated as Owen was, back in 1998. He hasn't proven anything on the big stage yet, and it doesn't look like he'll have a chance either this time. But again, for me, it comes down to seeing Beckham on the pitch for England that makes me root against them from the bottom of my heart.
