one of the best sets i've ever heard in my life..

Great night of some slick dark tech-tribal. Man is as serious as Lawler with his tunes.
i couldnt stay out too late so I didnt show

Such an awesome night. I couldn't dance much due to my toe killing me, but I still managed to get some time in. Amazing sets from both Nevio & Tedd. Haven't heard such a nice well rounded set in a while! Definately a treat! Always a pleasure dancin with you Mushy

Hey, did anyone notice the wrist bands? Who's got the info on those? I heard the dj's were wearing them that night and it sounds like there's an interesting story behind it 
Another Stellar night @ Sonic. got there a little before 2 and from the lineup figured it would be pretty quiet inside. got in & the place was bumpin' already. Nevio played a nice opening set, though not as impressive as his opener for Danny Torrence.
Tedd Patterson came on and took it to a whole new level. If you were on the dancefloor you were busy getting down. DDTT truly is the perfect description for Patteron's sound. His set while not "all over the place" did move back & forth from darker/techier sounds to dirty tribal beats - all nicely tied together with slick loops & samples, throw in airhorn & you have party music.
Gotta love his enthusiasm & innovation. Craziest part of the night was when he (guessing on specifics here) kept increasing the speed of this very distorted sample. First he covers his ears (warning us) then it just keeps getting louder & more distorted (while still beatmatched) until nearly the entire club is covering their ears (except for me, I was jumping up & down, arms in the air and screaming my head off)
Here is why I 
Sonic.
- This is the 2nd week in a row I've seen Eddy K come down to the dancefloor around 7-8am and just hand out water bottles to those of us still boppin' - very cool 
- A little after 8 Tedd wraps it up. Most people say some quick goodbyes and are gone. Next thing you know Carey is standing on the steps and he shouts out "You guys want music?" to which I am the only one to reply "Fuck yea" - so Nevio steps in and lays down around 7-8 tunes - for literally 8 people.
(Nevio dropped Red Carpet - Alright in these last tracks - funny because Jimmies brothers girl asked me earlier in the evening if Jeff had the track when he was spinning at the pre-drink jam & Jimmies bro & his girl were included in the last 8 people there)
Which leads us directly to Daves & "Olderschool" who have been inducted to the "Go Hard or Go Home" crew by myself & Yvonne. LOL Yvonne you would've loved to see Andrew at the end. At first trying to convince me to leave, then 10 seconds later dancing like crazy with a big smile on his face & he yells at me "GO HARD OR GO HOME"

Jeff played for an hour or 2 @ the pre-drink jam & busted out a good 7-8 hours of tunes @ jimmies place afterwards - including this new bomb he got his hands on 
sssshh - you've gotten really good really fast d00d, but I'm not so surprised anymore considering who you're learning from (& getting tracks from! ID that track for us d00d)
All in all an uber saturday night/sunday..

The place is totally hawt...and the buzz ward is that this place is only gonna get better.

We had a great time at Sonic on Saturday night! The crowd was not big, but they sure were there to party...
I thought Nevio was at his best...a great opening set!
Tedd always delivers...and he saved some of his best for last...loved his energy....even at 7 am, when the crowd was thinning, he was full of energy...jumping around the booth and really enjoying himself...
Can't wait for Saturdays...loving Sonic!
ps... Does eveyone know where to go to get a piece of gum?
hmm, gum confiscating huh?
fresh breath > hardwood floors....I love the club, but this is a pain in the ass
