X-MEN the last stand

better than the first two??

yep. just saw it tonite, it was great. juggernaut was awesome...oh and i think there is gonna be a part 4 the way it was set up

there was a 10sec clip from the next one at the end of the credits.

Nah, it was a good movie, but 1st two were way better. This movie was like mortal kombat annihilation in the sense with the "ultimate" battle scene and the corny lines. Action was good, but something was missing that was there in the 1st two. Seem slow at the begining then rushed at the end...oh and stay after the credits

I think they ruined it.

2 is the best, then 1, then 3

but just cus it's the least best out of the series doesn't make it suck. it's still better than most movies out at the moment, AND it's easily the best comic movie ever.

my only complaint about part 3 was some of the dialogue....examples:

"im the juggernaut bitch!"

and when whats her face calls juggernaut a "dickhead"

i felt the same way, although they had a lot of wolverines signature moves when he went on a hack n slash, it seemed like jack just wasnt living up to being wolverine like he did in the first 2.

yeah... honestly I thought it was just okay. Very average.

So. Everyone dies, it was kinda annoying. I mean, first scott, then xavier, then everyone loses their powers, i.e. rogue wussed out. I was kinda pissed caused in the cartoon (that I watched in elementary school ) rouge was a lot more bad a, and now just... I guess I was a bit dissapointed. Magneto shoulda just dropped the bridge on the island and save everyone a lot of trouble. Could have annihilaited everyone easily. Another plot irritation was why not just chuck the cure kid at Jean when she is going nutz at the end of the movie, handcuff the kid to Jean, and then kill her. It seems to me that would have been a more appropriate and easier solution.

All in all.. I give in 6.5/10

they need to put gambit in the movie..an i hurd nightcrawler isnt in this one?

XIII sucked my hairy white ass. I loved the second one, the first one was pretty cool, but the Last Stand was just awful. No Gambit. Nightcrawler just isn't there. Jean dies. Prof X dies. Rogue loses her powers. I could go on for days just on the plot alone, nevermind the technical aspect. Cyclops getting axed and Beast are the only redeeming features of the flick. Regardless of your thoughts on the first two movies, I strongly recommend staying away from this one.

I just got done watching parts 1 and 2 on dvd this weekend, getting ready to watch part 3 tonight. I like part 2 better than part 1, so I'll see how part 3 goes....

yah seriously, i was thinking the same damn thing.

i didn't like this one at all. the first two were way better and a large part of this has to be because Bryan Singer didn't have his hand in this 3rd one. the whole thing reminded me of Matrix Revolutions, it was completely riddled with cliques, philofeliopezing, plot holes, and stupid block-buster jokes. practically the ONLY thing thats making me give it the bennefit of the doubt is my fan loyalty

a lot of ppl have given it the action scenes but i thought even those were mediocre. these so much more that could have been done.

and are you telling me the only way magneto thought possible to get to the island was lifting up the golden gate bridge? was that in the comics?

see thats what I dont understand. why not just wait for him to finish superman and put out x3 next year. its that kinda shit that annoys the hell out of me about hollywood.

I agree with those saying its the worst of the series but it definitely has its cool moments but something was just missing, it didnt have the same flow I guess.

it probably would have cost them money to wait. without the soul behind the works it was just another cookie cutter hollywood blockbuster. it leaves you entertained but its hollow on the inside

THE WORST MOVIE OF THE YEAR.

not only because it was a letdown, because, by god, was it ever a letdown, but because it was a crappy movie. it was shot like a B-movie, it had B-movie dialogue, the acting was bad, poor editing, blah all over the cinematography... thanks brett ratner, I'm so glad you've solidified your place in Hollywood history as the person NOT to take sequels to. between Red Dragon and X3, somebody should take away all this guy's money and power in the industry and give it to someone who has a fucking clue.
