finally figured this out, almost 6 years later!
It was Cressida - Caught in a Dream (Callisto Original Mix)
wasn't even released until 2007, lol

original:
dj precision played it in his Melomania Deluxe set 13-06-2005, towards the end... haven't heard it since and I don't think a tracklist for that set was ever released... the vocals are kinda hard to make out, but it starts with "you want to reach my soul" (i think)
