Does that 15 hours include a trip to NYC to pick someone up, because there's no way that it takes 15 hours to get from DC to Toronto if you go through PA (I-79 probably is the fastest).

lol actually 15 hours was divided btwn two drivers who got btwn 20 mins to 2 hrs of shuteye the night before, ahahha. OH! and madd traffic at the BORDER for some reason. ahha. It was so fuckin hot that day also it was unbearable...

but totally worth it. LOL 2004 - NYTA invasion eheh

ahhh reminescent of LOL 2004...man that was a LONNNG time ago...and we stayed at the NOVOTEL...iono I still preferred the Courtyard Marriott on Yonge St (my reg hotel of choice) even tho it is farther away. shruggs. then again who knows if the NOVOTEL will ever allow NYTAs to stay there AGAIN!!! ***shhh**

hey people, lets set this TRIP up!!

Posted by RoBDaWG on May-31-2006 19:31:

This is so kick ass! I can't believe I actually got this going hahah!!

...as far as driving goes, back in '04 I found out that Johan was spinning @ WEMF in Toronto (waaay into Toronto) two days before. I dropped everything and drove 14 hours with a buncha people I never met before! It was AWESOME!!!!

Okay so far we got....

Me (and possibly a non-TA friend who's a big Gielen fan)
phoenixBEBE & Drew
FLYBOY
Stan Void

...okay so Asians in one car, Whiteboys in the other AHAHHAHA just playing, but it looks like we'll need another driver besides myself.

Posted by SidMl on May-31-2006 20:18:

I might be up for this but I can't plan this far ahead.
Ask me again in 2 weeks.

Posted by RoBDaWG on Jun-01-2006 18:16:

lol we've got plenty of time to figure out the driving situation, things always change last minute anyways...

haha funny thing about 'pimpin' - every year when i goto WEMF in toronto I end up driving around looking for a carwash someplace near the grounds so i can be all bling bling when i roll up (cuz after 10 hours of driving my car is usually a mess hahaha)

tru that...but it would SUCK if that last minute change involved ppl NOT being able to go UP...so thats why planning is essential!! its the END of this month, its not so far away

well anyway, back in '03 (when I had just gotten into the scene), I quickly met *AND* went up with four headz to Toronto for System SoundBar to ring in my birthday with Picotto <3 then next day to GUVERNMENT where we were PWNED by Mark Oliver until 8am..then we drove right BACK to NY. My first taste of clubbing in Toronto...a lasting impression...memories that will last forever...

oh man, def TIME To go back!!

yeah Toronto itself is plenty safe as big cities go, I think its much safer than NYC as well as cleaner as well...Toronto people are realy friendly, as least those whom ive encountered...Also, we've driven up madd times with friend within the past three years...if u drive to the GUV, u can park in their lot...it's secure...or else park in valet and take a taxi ride to the GUV and back...

most hotels have valet parking also so you can keep ur car there

Posted by phoenixBEBE on Jun-09-2006 01:55:

u can either buy thru ticketmaster (which carries a surcharge) or you can probably just buy them at any record store in downtown Toronto...ive done that for other GUVERNMENT events such as these...but we can still decide on that...
