Valentines 101

K, heres a little thread for u all to post ideas/shouts/ romantic stories about valentines day and what ure doin with ure Girl/Guy.

My new girlfriend has never been given flowers before so on thursday im getting 50 red roses delivered to her desk in front of all her work collegues and her boss! Then im taking her out for a meal and then the cinema, and then who knows what! Im just head over heels for this girl u know? xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

smug gits........ROFL. Stop trying to get sympathy you twat. Ok seriously......valentine's day means absolutely nothing to me coz i'm single (no sympathy please). I find it an overcommercialization because you should tell your significant other how much you live him or her everyday you see them and not wait until one day of the year and say i love you but then this is just my opinion.

well if it makes you enraged single, um, flamers ( ) feel any better, for many ppl, like myself, its a bit of a burden, not b/c i dont care about my bf and not b/c hes not special, but b/c it just happend that first there was christmas, then 3 weeks later it was my bf's bday, then 3 other weeks later its valentine's, and then another 2 weeks later its our anniversary, and im running out of ideas of those 'special things to give to your sweetie'

I know what that's like. First it was christmas, then our 1 year anniversary on jan 26, now valentine's day, and next month is my gf's birthday. I am now completely broke and out of ideas, and to top that off I have to figure out a way to do as much as she's doing for me (taking me away for a weekend, but she won't tell me where.)

Does anyone know any get-rich-quick schemes?

this year is going to be our 3rd valentines together.

I knew I had to plan something good since I am going to propose to her that night, I 've been wanting to do it for a while but what a better day to do it then valentines day right?

I bought her a ring (it is very simple, but she is simple and she is going to love it) I gotta tell you guys, when you go out to buy your girlfriend a ring, it is the best feeling in the world, I can't explain, I was just so happy, felt like i was taking a big step in my life with the person I love.

and yes I am completely in love with her, sorry i have to share it.

she is going to be working the whole day on valentines.. so i am going to send her flowers (not roses, cause she doesnt like them) to her work. on her break i going to pick her up an take her out to lunch

for dinner i made reservations for us to go eat at this sushi restaurant (her favorite) . our friends who are also a couple,a re going to be there, I asked the waiter to put the ring on a sushi tray and make him bring it to the table, she is going to take the cover off the tray and that is when i propose.
the next day neither of us are going to be working so i made a surprise plan for us to go swimming with dolphins (she is going to die when she finds out)

well I hope it all works out as i planned , and I'll let you guys know how everything went.

WHOA! your girl is one lucky lady to have an awesome bf like you. all that sounds so perfect and sweet. best of luck, not like you need any, everything is so great

rustang, i learned that the gift doesnt have to be big and costly. something simple and something that shows you care is all you need. for our anniversary, im putting together an album of my baby pictures. my bf wants to see them, but ive never showed any to none of my friends cause i think i look dorky on them.
cook for your girl, or take her out (as in outdoors) somewhere with a nice view and have a picnic or something
or give her a chocolate for every day you've been together (that is if you've been together for some time now)

Wellz, V day isn't all it's cracked up to be...I mean why just have ONE day for that? If I had a g/f (mind you I've never had one, despite some girls' disbelief...cause apparently I'm "really cute" I'm just plain shy) I'd treat her like that whenever we're together. I think V day might have meant something but not anymore. And treat your women like that every day guys...not just on one measely day of the year. :P Later.
