i thought everyone knew better than to order from them?
ABOUT TIME!!!
excellent...
anyone have a legimate link? i see 30+ pages of people "saying" they got busted.
is this in the news somewhere, an official article, anything besides forum posts?
*edit after reading 30 pages of crap flaming and trolling on that board, i still have no idea if this is true or not*
if it's a troll, it's an EXPERT one. if it's true, HTFR have done some damn good damage control trying to make it LOOK like a troll.
jury is still out for me..

I made some enquiries...

| I'm afraid I have been unable to find out anything about this on the information you have provided. Can I suggest that you forward your enquiry onto the International Federation Phonographic Industry (IFPI) who are based in Regent Street, London or the West Midlands Police, who look after the Birmingham region and hopefully they may be able to assist you. Good
I actually reported them to the BPI and UK trading standards a couple of years ago when i bought what i thought was a rare record- and was some shitty repress with 4 different bootlegs on.
Glad to see they listen.
Burn the ******s at the stake.
I too hope this is legit, and can't wait to see confirmation.
HTFR has fucked far too many folks over - And though it's been years since I've ordered from them, the wounds of warped records, shit quality bootlegs, and all around douchebaggery are still fresh.
When I was in London last year I wanted to find their store and burn that ****** to the ground.
The funny thing was when another forum all clubbed together and bombarded HTFR with e-mails asking when they were going to be stocking a made-up release... sure enough, a week or so later they listed it as in stock!
