Osama Bin Laden Vs G. W. Bush

Who caused more death, more destruction, more misery in other people's life?

Oh how original.

Shall I create a poll asking who on PDD is more annoying, all the conspiracy theorists, or the people that live in western countries yet call for the destruction of western countries? That would be quite a bit more interesting.

Bush alone didn't cause all of that. It was his Neocon advisers, to a large extent, who used him as a vehicle for their ends. Much as I loathe him, he is but a pawn.

People also are going to say that Bush was retaliating for 9/11, so it shouldn't matter if he caused more because it was in self defense.

And on the other side, terrorist sympathizers are going to say that 9/11 was retaliation for the US's policies that have destroyed the Middle East and their way of life.

And on and on and on....

Stupidity kills anyway.

All Bush has done is damage to his country, he has sigle handedly led the US economy to the ruins and made this world a uglier place.

He has only harmed people, destroy economies, only destroy lives, wiped out entire families, destroy peace and unity. He has blood on his hands, blood of small babies. I dont know if there were more babies killed by Osama in 9/11 event or more babies killed in Iraq and Afganistan.

The first complaint happens in most political elections, but I do vote because the second doesn't apply.

On the other hand if the question was "Who has caused most happiness", I would have answered Bush too since I don't think Osama has done a whole lot good to the world.

He hasn't damaged the US in any way other than politically which is reversible. Our economy is on the rise and has been for the last two years. And you know all of this since you were there first hand for all these atrocities that you suppose happend. Right. Am I also to believe that he gave the exact orders these soliders that supposedly killed all civilians, and that he also has mental powers far beyond any normal human that allow him to direct bombs with pin point precision just to kill babies.

So basically, you have no arguement other than your own half formed perceptions and opinions about a man you've never met. Great start here. I'm interested in how you would classify other people based on these assupmtoins because if people that only ever harmed others and caused sadness are terrorists themself, yet worse than terrorists what seperates the two? Where do you draw the line between someone that's just selfish and one that's really a threat to others. If anything offended me it's the fact that half wits like yourself are allowed to post in an area that supposed to be specifically for the debating of ideas and politics. This thread belongs in the COR where mindless opinionated bable is par the course. You can't just simply post a poll like this here and then after being asked to validate it's purpose saying that an uterly unscientific polls results are all the validation it needs. It doesn't work that way, so validate the utterly worthless poll already. Meet the above posted challenge with evidence and reasoning other that just your personal beliefs and opinions.

It is a valid poll, Bush after all is the supreme commander of the US Military forces. All the 'non military casualties' that have occurred in Iraq and Afghanistan outnumber greatly the number of them that were caused directly by Osama bin Laden. Your critique of this poll is as tainted with your beliefs as much as the Purple's reasosn for creating this poll are tainted by his. If you look at it as two commanders pitted against each other and you objectively look at the number of non combatants killed on both sides the US still has more kills. Unless you can refute the fact that the US has by 'mistake' killed many more non combatants than Al-Qaeda than you can not disprove the validity of this poll. BTW i voted for Bush.
