Review: DJ Faded and Kris B

So mike and kris b. were so gracious to come to my junior high school and give a demonstration on EDM. the kids had a blast and we had quite a few future clubbers/ravers who got up on the stage and danced. mike and kris b. talked to them some about the differences in generes and how the music is made and about the equipement. mike had cds to give out and i threw them out in the crowd nearly putting out some eyes in the process.

it was lots of fun and i truly appreciate it guys!!!!!!!

remember mike and kris too, i got your dinner saturday at the meet up for coming down to upland.

mike, kris and i were saying all kinds of stuff to each other regarding light shows, washing machines, how to hydrate when partying, etc. and laughing but then you're right some of them do know what that stuff is. we have quite a few stoner's in our school and dealers!

but some of the kids were dancing on the stage behind the guys and mike says in the microphone, hey we have go-go dancers. way too funny but the kids had fun

haha nice. thats awesome. its cool to know that at least one teacher in this world is educating kids on how not to be dumb fucks at clubs/raves/parties.

So they actually played? That's pretty cool, one time when I was in high school they had a dj at one of the rally's...he was shit, and spinning hip hop and rock

yeah they spun for like 30 minutes and mixed in different generes so the kids could hear the difference and the kids were dancing and everything.

they went crazy when i started handed out some of mike's cds.

it was way fun even my principal and assistant principal came in and hung out for awhile. mike and kris were awsome for introducing about 160 kids to great music!

I work for LA County in Downey. Actually, there are a few people here at work who are into the scene *coughTranceSeekercough* but some of the older folks here, have been brain washed by the media. So when you mention TRANCE, they start with their oooohs & aaaaahs and well you know what they're trying to imply.

I once mentioned to this now retired co-worker that I go clubbing/dancing and right away she gave me this weird ass look and says, "Oh my, so you go out, get all messed up, vomit, and end up being all over on the floor!"

She pissed me off and I simply replied, "Yeah, that's what I do, would you like to join me next time?"

yeah i get that crap too. While we teach we have to wear our instructor badges and crap. Well i have mine witha Mauro Pictto/Meganite lanyard. another instructor asked what i it was and i told her. her response"Oh i love some rave music too." Me: "Really? Because i used to love it when i was a jr. in high school, but then i grew up."

Thank you to Sarah for letting me and Kris come out and play for your kids. Although it seemed like it turned into a club and a dance off! I remember asking.. "Does anyone have any questions??" and the response... "Play more music so we can dancE!"

OMG you guys made it so much fun! the kids were having so much fun dancing and that's what they wanted. don't worry, when we have the next dance i guarantee they will be asking for edm! trust me.
