Hey guys a friend who has a band (not trance) but he tells me
when sending a demo its a good idea to ,have only 3 songs max and all of them not going past the one minute mark,and he also said to get right to the point within the first 10 or ,20 or so seconds.

my only question is is this requirement standard for most producers and labels ,i have seen some in the past who wanted a 5 minute track
cant remeber who it was know though.

this generally doesn't apply to trancemusic as much as it does to more comercial stuff.

It's true that you should only send a very limited ammount of tracks but most labels in the EDM-scene want full versions since it's very important to show how the track is built up etc...
