metal gear solid 4 guns of patriots

yestrday i recived a video from some gaming conference in japan and o man this game looks even better its coming out i think in 2007 thats what the ad said but the story line continues where it left off snake is about 20 30 years older and he has some nano suit which can camo him anywhere also story is going on now in midle east where liquid aka ocelot is relising his mini metal gears to take over the world and make one new country and then outa no where as soonest as snake wanted to shoot himself because he was old and couldnt fight this ninja guy shows up and it is raiden from part 2 sons of liberty he is fast as hell uses sword he is basicly like deep throat he has face mask new suit and such


if anyone has a hosting thats above 700mbs i can easly upload it if anyone wants to see it but the video clip blew my head of it is that amazing especialy last sequence where raiden is fighting like 6 or 7 small metal gears jumping in between them cuting them and doing shit just crazy

I doubt snake is 20-30 years older, cause none of the other characrers appear to be so much older. He does look old due to the fact that he's a clone, and clones age faster

Seeing as how this is truly Kojima's last Metal Gear Solid game (directing and designing, at least), it wouldn't be too surprising if Snake does kill himself. It seems something altogether tragic is about to go down in this not-so-far-off future.

game is looking wonderful and i'm highly debating with myself wether i should cough the $ to get a PS3 just for this game (well, maybe the blue ray player too, eh?). The direction looks so mature and there are so many loose ends to tie up in the saga. Considering this is the last Kojima MGS game, Snake may actually be killed off once the project is handed off for a fresh new director and lead character.
I enjoy heavily the "post-modern" take Kojima has on the world and I am heavily anticipating his take on technology where, much to the displeasure of the late big boss, soldiers may no longer have a place, but simply AI and metal gears.
just to think this game looks so great as a first generation PS3 title. Imagine what the next generations will look like.
ocelot looks so badass.

i deffo will go an get ps3 for this game i did it for mgs2 and 3 snake eater so i guess i will have to doit for this one


and as for mgs project i didnt know that i has been handed to new dircetor that can be interesting but nothing without a snake

I'm in the same boat, and I've allready decided that I'll cough up the dough simply for this game. Sounds kinda ridiculous, but hey, this game looks INSANE.

Does anyone else find this code-name amusing?

This might be the end at least on Hideo's part but if they are going to ever continue the MGS series at least wait for the right one for this series. This series can't be screwed up its way too good right now for someone else to screw it up.

So, my hope is that the MGS series won't come out with a new game until the right person has come to replace Hideo.

kojima has already named his successor. in fact, he named him after MGS2 during his claim that he was making his "last mgs game" (and then once more, lol)
MGS1-4 are meant to be like a 4 part series with a beginning and an end. So maybe MGS 5 is going to be set like the Final Fantasy Series where all the elements are the same, but just set in an alternate universe. I mean, can we keep adding generations of Big Boss's without going into monotony?
MGS 3 Subsistence bonus features said that MGS 4 was going to wrap up all the details of the games that seemed ambigious. My anticipation is to learning about Vamps supposed HUGE importance as well as how he got his powers to revive and walk on water and all that crazy shit.

and one last thing. the promotional art had someone holding a baby. Either it's Raiden+Rose's child or someone has found Olga's child (the one taken hostage)

btw line up the best bosses from all mgs



mgs 1 - psycho mantis = triped me out with his stuff when screen goes blank hehe o man

mgs 2 - vamp = cool character

mgs 3 - fury = crazy russian guy and also the end was a good boss took me a while till i smoked him he even went behind my back once shot me and took me far back hhaha sucked to go again

mgs 4 - unknown at the moment

that is a whole other topic, make a separate thread

tuxedo yes but ghost ? i dont thinkso i know about that one

done it all, but the ghosts are kinda annoying, i think i've seen just a couple
