Joshua Allen & Graham Gold @ Club Heaven 6/2/06 review + a couple of pics + video
Well, last night I made my return to the West Coast, and after being picked up by Michelle (sweetcandy girl), we had a little pre-party at DJ Faded's along with Carrie. He played a few tracks for us. Many thanks Mike. You're a damn good host and a sick ass DJ. Afterwards, we went to Heaven. It was pretty dead last night. Despite that, DJ Joshua Allen nonetheless tore up the decks with a DAMN good set. I only recognized a few tracks, but didn't know the ID. Transitioning/mixing was flawless and the flow was very solid and consistent. Excellent set. I got to formally meet Malia, and got to see Bob M. again.
TA turnout was next to none, unfortunately. Graham Gold came up after Joshua. I had never heard of this guy, but holy SHIT. Was I ever impressed. Banging track after banging track. I heard a few "questionable" mixes/transitions but I enjoyed an hour of his set or so, regardless. The moment of the night came when he played down one of my current favorite tracks...
Gabriel & Dresden featurin Molly - Tracking Treasure Down (Frase remix)
Without a shadow of a doubt, the absolute BEST remix of TTD floating around out there, this was the first time I ever heard it in a club. Man was it ever amazing. Got video of that, will upload when I come home. Took only a handful of pics which will be up soon. This was a good night, despite there being so little of a crowd turnout.

Here are the few pics I took.

Graham Gold:

Thanks for the review! Too bad I couldn't be there, Graham Gold defnitely plays some bangin tracks
Looking forward to seeing BT tonight at the Mighty!
Always love Graham's sets, toward the end he played Sander van Doorn's remix of Armin van Buuren "Control Freak" which really brought up the energy level for the enlightened few who were there.
At the end of his set I heard Da Hool "Meet Her at the Love Parade" and I was really happy that the Love Parade Berlin is going to happen again this year!
The music really moved me this night, such great DJ's! I picked up a flyer and found out that DJ Shah (from Germany) will be there June 9th and Pedro del Mar (also from Germany) will be there on June 16th! Pedro del Mar's mixes are outa control, I listen to them all the time, so I must go for this. I just hope that Heaven can survive, it's not Hell after all!
You didnt see Spunky Girl? lol

hook me up Frase. I'll come to your next gig
Frase
Frase You could put it on a white label. That dosnt have to be released. You would have your stuff played all over. Get your name bigger. What do you think????????????????????
or keep it exclusive to top jocks and mates and make people want it more. I don't think Frase would get it pressed. The people he wants to have it and people he knows won't give it out will be playing it out in next few months. Check out some of Frase's stuff thats been realeased. Plenty on beatport
