will it ever stop? =)

There are innumerable producers to be enumerated solely for the trance scene itself, discounting house and progressive.

But!

I'm surprised you guys forgot to mention Ferry Corsten.

1992 - probly his first record, and a great acid record to boot - from Ferry! Who would've thunk it? Wish he had released more like it.

Rollo:
around 1991

had heaps of aliases between 1991 and 1995 (including Faithless - 1994)

DJ Dag (of Dance 2 Trance) (1989)
Hardfloor (1991)
Red Jerry (1992)
Michael Spiegel (Nw Idol) (1993)

I'm surprised you guys forgot M.I.K.E. (1992-1993). The amount of productions this man has made is just incredible, many forgotten gems and rarities too.

Just about every producer who actually produces music worth listening to has.

Random from the top of my head:

Philippe Van Mullem (1987)

Nice one
Not the winner though!

Martin Glover (Youth) - 1984

Tis certainly not all trance he did, he did pretty much everything from playing in Killing Joke to working with Paul McCartney to his Youth in Dub albums to producing last year's killer Dragonfly Records release -> http://www.discogs.com/release/543238

His discogs list is endless

he got the Peter Slaghuis hithouse hookups .. sadly peter died in 1991, otherwise im sure he would have made a huge contribution

lets not forget thorsten fenslau of culture beat.. him and oliver lieb produced on force legato together. in 1989.. sadly another guy who would have made more productions probably in the realm of trance. he gave a face to eurodance.

read my post aright next time around. The Zenithal was in all likelihood the first record that he solely produced, not a record with whom several other people were involved.

Posted by Nrg2Nfinit on Jun-04-2006 18:04:

alright both of you guys are correct

Posted by tactik on Jun-04-2006 18:51:

Richie Hawtin [1990] First F.U.S.E. release was in 1990, first Plastikman release was in 1993.

Commander Tom [1987]
