is any pre-ordering this? or going to the event and going to get the cd?

probably no one has heard anything about it, but i just ordered it, and i'm looking forward to hearing it when it arrives...

i feel that sasha always has some amazing sets, but they're somehow amazingly better when something big happens: for example delta heavy, WMC, something like this end of his fundacion residency...

that's why i'm really excited about it.

i'm sure he knows it...probably gettin paid a lot to say it though...i heard a rumor that sasha records all of his sets, so maybe he already uses this

just received an email that the cd was back ordered...haha...well yea, it hasn't even been created yet...although i just hope they haven't sold the set number they said they would sell ("limited copies...")

well, they were just saying that they were selling 10000 on his site; that's the only thing i was thinking of

Yeah, I just don't think it really works for a DJ set TBH.

I mean, he's clearly going to have to work within somewhat limited range due to licensing - I mean they can license a ton of music, but at the end of the day they're only going to need a touch of it, and it just seems somehow less interesting then when bands that really improvise a ton and have significantly differing tracklists do it.

Don't get me wrong, Sasha is a great DJ, my all time favorite, but at the end of the day, I just don't know if Instant Live for DJ sets is really all that great of an idea - Perhaps for this one off thing it'll come together well, but at the end of the day, I just don't think it's something that could ever be done consistently.
