Tiesto Remixes movie anthem Pirates Of The Caribbean
Taken from trance.nu:
In July the much awaited second installment of the movie Pirates Of The Carribean will premiere in theaters worldwide. The movie, fully named Pirates Of The Carribean: Dead Man's Chest will ofcourse feature a massive soundtrack.
What better move then ask the world's most influential DJ, Tiesto, for a anthemic remake. And so it happend. Early July the single will be released. The track He's A Pirate will be available in the shops in five different versions.
He's A Pirate
1. Tiesto Radio Edit
2. Tiesto Remix
3. Tiesto Orchestal Remix
4. Frisca Lamboy Tribal Treasure Remix
5. Chriss Joss Ships Ahoy Tribal Remix
Ofcourse you will also find a vinyl with the Tiesto Remix in store, but we can't say much with certainty at the moment. Keep an eye out in the local shops for more information.
Nice connection is that the original score was composed by highranked composer Hans Zimmer. Geert Huinink, co-producer of some Tiesto productions, unfolded us last year that one of his heroes is: Hans Zimmer..
A quick first listen of the tracks tells us we are dealing with a pumping classy tranceproduction that clashes with the moviescore intermezzo. A true combination of dance and movietheme music, which might sound a bit odd the first time, but we think Tiesto has another killer anthem in his hands.
More info soon!
Can't wait.
Another popularity stunt... I mean PVD did the soundtrack for Zurdo and that wasn't even a blockbuster (nonetheless the music was superb)
Mmmm, wait and see.
Geert Huinink should have made filmmusic along time ago, cant understand why he is still stuck in trance music

oakenfold did the soundtrack to "Swordfish" too didn't he.
fek it - gonna keep optomistic, you never know He's a pirate jus might turn out to be good. (Prob not thou :-( )
arrrr tiesto be thy scurge of the seven seas
heh.
Tiesto seems to be following Oakenfold's lead into adopting Acclaim's marketing model of licensing big-name products....
Sigh... another popularity stunt
Ill withold judgement till i actually hear the track. Could be pretty good tbh
Doesn't sound promising. I'll withhold judgement until I hear it though.
Is this the first time pirates and EDM have gone hand in hand?
HAHAHAHAHA TIESTO...u can't reach Zimmer's creativity, NEVER!
but who knows...we'll see.

Can't wait to hear this one.
I am sure Hans Zimmer's original track will be better than that, but i would like to see what Tiesto can do with this.
Very curious...
I can already guess how this will go:
Big thumpy rhythmic intro, some sort of minor distorted synth hook borrowing elements from the main theme, breakdown, let the main theme play for a minute on its own, big build up, with the synths playing the same theme overtaking the original theme, big climax with synths, main theme, and thumpy rhythms, 90 second rhythmic outro.
Archive this post. It'll be interesting to see just how far off base I'll be.
