The Beheading of Harper

The most hair-raising of them all came from Gary Batasar, the lawyer for 25-year-old restaurant worker Steven Chand, as he described a synopsis of allegations from the Crown that also included taking politicians hostage and blowing up the CBC's Toronto headquarters. "There's an allegation that my client personally indicated that he wanted to behead the prime minister of Canada," Batasar told a crush of media outside the courthouse once the proceedings were over. Chand, bearded with shoulder-length hair, blew a kiss to supporters in the courtroom as he was led away in shackles and handcuffs.

I was reading this in this mornings paper, and my cynical side was thinking the same thing.

allah akbar is what the terrorists yell right before they behead someone on *********** videos.

I still don't see WHY you are so skeptical that arrests were warranted? Do you have *that* condescending and dismissive an opinion towards a long-term investigation? Like CSIS, the RCMP and other police forces have nothing better to do than to say "hey, let's fuck over a bunch of innocent Muslims!"

This isn't Cuba or some third world country.

But just so you know, so I can sleep at night, I don't care what race, creed or religion they are, CSIS and the RCMP did their job and the evidence looks pretty overwhelming at this point.

As for the paper and their sad stories about the family members being accosted by the media, they should have known better.
If they're such a close knit community then they should have known what was going on and reported it to the authorities to begin with therefore I have no sympathy for them, sorry.
The potential horrific averted disaster simply outweighs any symathy for them in that regard no matter how many times they cry, "racial profiling" and don't you dare fall for it.

I am a Miss and I am not being skeptical. I was agreeing what the other TA mentioned about saying the fertilizer.
