Posted by Don on Mar-01-2001 22:55:

everyone up there gots skills...but Tiesto is the king

Posted by Rudy on Mar-02-2001 08:52:

Idea Other

Hey,

Someone has selected "other", could that person please state which DJ he prefers!?

Thanx!

Posted by bjarmon on Mar-02-2001 10:22:

I picked Carl Cox, but my true personal gut feeling is all for Other (Donald Glaude) he is outrageous and can scratch like crazy. He is one of the only DJs I know that will play a record and leave the tables to get down with the crowd and dance his ass off.

Keep on voting!

Tiesto can still beaten, so VOTE!!!!!!

Hmm...Tiesto can't be beaten anymore

i can't believe armin didn't get one vote yet.

Posted by Rudy on Mar-02-2001 20:34:

Wink

So why didn't u vote for him??

Posted by JdDark on Mar-02-2001 20:41:

I know for a fact that Tisto will win, I voted for Johan Gielen...love his track selection and mixing methods...

whats so good about tiesto?.. cos he smiles when he's doing a set at a club?... i mean like, all the songs in his recent sets are old and he just keeps on playing them!!.. he hasn't pushed his sets into un-known territory by playing new tracks! Armin van Buuren got my vote cos his cd's are fresh tracks and his sets are taking you on a journey. IMHO, Tiesto is getting boring.. Sander Kleinenberg, Armin van Buuen and Mauro Picotto are a lot more pleasing and i can listen to their sets/cds over and over cos they never get boring!

I just saw Tiesto spin for the first time in San Francisco, and I have to say he is amazing. I've been following him for a couple years now and I agree that some of his more recent sets are a bit dull, but this set was something different, three hours of pure aural bliss. Seeing him live has totally restored my faith in the man.

He just knows how to keep a club up, he has a certain presence that I just can't put in words. Plus he spun a lot of new tracks I couldn't recognize and a couple of his own brand new tracks "Urban Train" and "Flight 643". If you think Tiesto's gone soft or isn't pushing the envelope with his new stuff I urge you to check out this small 30 sec clip of "Flight 643"

http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio1/media/g.../flight_643.ram

If anybody has a full copy of this track please send it my way, or better yet send it to Swamper so he can post it.

Posted by eXos on Mar-03-2001 13:32:

Marco V is coming. And he's coming hard!!!!!!!!!!!

Posted by tu_face on Mar-03-2001 14:03:

Read This! Tiesto will win but...

Im in no doubt DJ Tiesto will win this, and deservedly too because he's been putting out top quality stuff for years now... but as an upcoming DJ, at the moment i rate Lucien Foort as being my fave DJ, he tore it up when he played crasher...!!!

Peace

I can only incert 10 DJ's, so I take the most famous ones!

Posted by Paul Wilson on Mar-03-2001 19:46:

Paul Wilson

Can I ask why Mauro Picotto and Marco V are in there and Sasha and Digweed aren't??? Not that I've got anything against these two, but Sasha and Digweed are definitely better in my opinion!

Posted by Rudy on Mar-03-2001 20:24:

Cool

Cause they are more "trancy"

Posted by Rudy on Mar-04-2001 19:30:

I love to see that Tom Harding has'n't got any votes yet!!

Posted by maniac.dg on Mar-04-2001 20:01:

I can't understand why so many ppl are voting for DJ Tiesto. Of course he is a great DJ and I like some of his tracks, too, but in my opinion his tracks sometimes are just a bit toooo mellow. I like it a bit harder. Ferry Corsten really turns me on and PvD is outstanding
