Reason for Rosemontag's Rave being on a Monday?
Is there a reason it's on this day? It just seems weird to be on a Monday (or maybe it's Tuesday over there all ready?)
I thought about that, but i don't care coz pvd's set was amazing.
Highlight of the rave imo.

the reason its on monday is b/c "montag" is monday in german...
if it was on saturday it would be "Rosensamstags Rave"

I didn't exactly get good grades in it but I took it LoL
It`s on a monday because Rosenmontag (and the tuesday also for a lot of people) is a holiday (carneval!!) here in Germany ! Don`t you people celebrate carneval in your places? (no offence, just wondering)

Yo this is right! In the area where the Rosenmontagsrave take place in Germany is on Monday "Rosenmontag" (carneval, fashing) Here all people go in costumes, celebrate parades, having fun, drinking MUCH alcohol and hearing really stupid music (Schlager)! This is so big that you see it on every corner and when you don't like this you get really fast pissed of that! So the organisatores thought, hey let's make an alternative for this and the organisate a rave party that is on "Rosenmontag" so it's called the Rosenmontagsrave!Because a lot of people have to work on Tuesday they start already in the afternoon!
I hate working on mondays like these.... DAMN, that rave is/was just a 1.5 hour drive from my house..
(better luck next year)
couldn't get off (just started last week)..
btw, carneval, (IMO) sucks bigtime... luckely, where I live, you don't notice if you don't like it...

i need to hear the kai tracid set.. only 30 minutes but still... i did'nt get a chance to hear it
hehe Carneval really suckz, but Rosenmontagsrave was fine.
On Rosenmontag in the main carneval cities (cologne etc.) are big parades and so decided do make a big trance party for those people who don�t like crap music und drunken people 
Today is "Veilchen Dienstag (Tuesday)" i think every day in carneval has a special name and tommorow is "Aschermittwoch (Wednesday)" and that�s the day where Carneval ends...

I'd always translated it as 'Red Monday' dunno is Red is Rosen but I haven't done any german since school
