Richard gale pres. electrogenix - pmem101 (upbeat melodic tech trance)

i like this new style you have rich. its music to my ears. really emotional sounding tracks. this is your mike sound coming back through here. you have moved away from the more techy side you had in your tracks which imo is a good thing.

this is a real proggy tune. lead back atmosphere yet really emotional. your melodies are much better now. i see you got signed i can hear why

not long before you get signed to one of those big labels.

ill talk about the track more. kick really good. percs are good although id add more driving open hats on the offbeat to make more kicking. i would like to hear you an uplifting track though as you have the right melodies to do it.

good job here. still like your last one the best. send me a 320kbps please.

cheers

kane

Hey Richie

Love that melody at the start, really trippy and quite sad sounding nearly. Sound's quite 80's as well ;-)

You definitely have the atmosphere, but you need more driving percs. They would make it from a good track to a great one. That main synth is amazing though, good job on that.

Probably my favourite melody you have done so far, would maybe like to have a midi of them, if you can oblige

Just get some more driving percs in it!

Ricky

thanx barry and rickdogg.

glad you liked it. i agree that more percs would increace drive but i wanted it to be useable in more minimal sets. like the kind of set you would hear gregor tresher - neon in..

i mixed it into and out of with one of may favourite tracks (drive wise) - e craig - call it a day, and the drive seamed to hold its own.

i might make a version that gets more trancy. with some hh's and a arped submelody?

also i am doing a universal nation rmx based on this style...

ill sort a midi out for ya rick.. id love a rmx of this by you

cheers guys

liking this a lot. very subtle trancer but not too deep that it becomes boring or anything. bassline/little bits of percussion keeps it moving along very nicely.

while the lead melody is great, i'm not too fond of that synth but it does suit the structure of the current track...would love to hear someone (or yourself) rework it into something with more energy and power though. :P

heard some of your older stuff richard, but never thought the melody stood out enough, or was..."emotional" enough. this one, however, does. great work!

This is nice. Perhaps my favourite of your tracks so far. Only thing I'd prefer, is at least some pause in that lead (not a cheesy arpeggio pattern though). The production is balanced and sounds are good, nothing to critisize there. Good job in overall

very nice track
i love the bass and the nice snappy percs. very uplifting and dark at the same time. i like this style a lot. very good work. keep it up!

Hey rich..im starting to like your productions a lot more now...you had a great production sound before but maybe not the right melodies or enough power..but i now feel its coming all together for u now!

I love your percussion arrangements in this - nice and crisp and like the bassline and that melody..still think you should use more powerful pads near the end hehe..

Commenting as soon as possible mate

Sorry for this very late review mate....

The lead is so great, u know i'm loving that sound, and the melody is exellent. Kinda sad, but at the same time uplifting.
Percussions is good too, but those closed hihats that's in there from the beggining is a little to loud imo, they are overwhelming the other drums.

It's getting really good towards the end, when you got two lead synths layering eachother. Sounds great.

Thumbs up

//Alexander
