Review: BOB SINCLAR MILLENIUM

Meh so I debated long enough if I should go or not. Finally decided to go. Millenium is a nice club...kinda out of the way from everything else. I am not from Montreal. Anyways got there at 11 PM. When I got inn the dance floor was pretty empty...but slowly filled up. Bob came one around 12 ish. I didn't know what to excpect. I wasn't dissapointed but I wasn't blown away either. Bob played good tunes, good cheese as some of you would say, but the vibe of the place just sucked ! I think its because I will compare everything to what I experienced in T dot at the docks (TIESTO yeaaah !) I think when he played love generation was the highlight of the night, everyone went crazzzy. Friggen MTL juice monkeys were everywhere and those losers just walk around and push everyone around, but at least they bring thier hot plastic woman with them. But yeah would of been better if more people danced instead of just standing around. Anyways after Bob was done the afterhours place open up. I was thinking of hitting up Stereo for afterhours, but I was feeling the Tribal-Trancy room, it filled up quite quickly and the vibe was much better there since everyone was dancing. Once again a lot of MTL juice monkeys around but this time no shirts on, I am kinda figuring out their routine, house music=shirt on trance music = shirt off, but as long as they bring their plastic g/f's with them and I get to see their stuff bouncing around I don't care...by the way MTL woman are soo hot !...just please don't bumb into me every two seconds (yeah you juice monkeys). Anywyays they also had a hip hop room which kinda sucked since all the little gangsters wannabes were there. Left around 7 am because my legs were dunzo, slowly recovering right now...yeeeeah. Overall had fun with my friends, but mostly cuz we made it fun, I'd say a 7.5/10.

yeah

come back for the 23rd at ARIA... PREACH BABY!

that'll be a good representation of what the Montreal scene is like...

ARIA or STEREO... you wont ever want to go back to Millenium again

he can drop a harder trance track once in awhile(think Hammer & Benett Body Language(Santiago Nino Tech mix),but mostly its techno. You wont be disapointed, as his sets have an energy that is off the charts.Millenium isnt the same as the downtown locations.

Yeah like I said its a nice club...but the 60 % of the crowd sucked, it was more of a fashion show then a dance event. I am gonna be there at ARIA.

I think you have it backwards there mate! T.O is the place full of juice monkeys that push you around and don't say sorry? I got the crap beaten out of me when I went to the Guv from the mosh pit you guys call a dance floor. Tiesto? Real vibe? And at the Docks? Gimme a break. If someone offered me guestlist and $500 spending money to go to the Docks I would have to give it some serious consideration as the sketch there is almost unbearable.

Sorry you found the club goers "sketchy" at this paticular event, I am a little surprised hearing this. I am even more suprised you didn't feel right at home as T.O clubs put the T in "sketch" as far as I am concerned.

Seriously tho, maybe you were giving off vibes that were just begging to be pushed around?

NOOB

Aria is an ugly place, but 250x more fun.

I've only been clubbin in Toronto once and that was when I saw Tiesto at the docks. I don't know but I though that night was pretty fing sweet and I am pretty sure all the people that went that night can comfirm that. Maybe you don't like Tiesto for whatever reason, but I saw him 3 times in the past year and it just gets better everytime. Where you even at the Tiesto show ? Because I know a lot of ppl bashed Tiesto and the Docks before that night but they were all praising afterwards. Just because something shitty happened to you (which I am sorry to hear) while clubbin in t.o doesn't mean you have to bash the city and their club scene, I didn't like this party at millenium that much but you don't see me sayin MTL is full of freaks and bla bla, I am actually coming back for DJ PREACH yyyyyyyyyeah! and for the record I'd be coming to T.O more often its just soo out of the way but I have to scheduel a date with the Guvernment at one point this summer. I am just gettin into this clubbin business so I don't know if better things await but so far the Tiesto show at the docks was the highlight for me. Maybe you have more juice monkeys in T dot but at the Tiesto show I only saw a few and I had no problem with ppls behaviour there, sure there were sketchy ppl but those are at all the parties (especially the cracked out asians). I've partied with juice monkey at MTL before (BEB, TIESTO ...) and never had problems, maybe cuz they were all on drugs, but I saw like 2 or 3 fights break out this time so thats something I don't like to see and never seen while I was in MTL. And by the way per capita MTL has the moooooooost juice monkeys and tanning salons in the world...all I gotta say in BEB 12.

Yeah I found the clubgoers sketchy at millenium,I wouldn't even call them clubgoers, I mean these dudes get all geled up dressed in their prada shit just to walk around, probably be better off next time savin the 30 bucks to get inn and buy another tub of hair gel. I mean I dress up too and I like to have a cool haircut but I like to dance as well. I especially love the part where the dudes stand by the bar while their girls are on the dancefloor and they talk about how much they can bench...lol...But oh well just another night.

Yeah I was definetly giving off a vibe to be pushed around ? lol If dancing gives off that vibe then wtf is the dance floor for ? Oh wait I forgot I had a big sign on my back that said "hey Jean Guy please bumb into me everytime u walk by". GOOOOOOOOOD ONE ! Tap your self on the back for that one !

Ya, but in T.O I would be afraid that "tap" would come from from what someone was packing!

it's put the "E" in sketchy, more like it. Millenium does have lots of muscleheads and 'rippers in there, Montreal is known for its roids for sure. And if you guys go out to the edm scene in Van, you'll see more roids out there too.. and the muscleheads are even more aggressive in Van than Montreal and TO combined.
