I found this website which seems legal and offers some great tracks in a (to me) unique format. It seems that rather than use one definitive bassline/vocal/whatever in your track, you can compose a track with loads of alternative versions and let the listener decide which version they want as they remix the track as it is playing. Seems that Moby and Sasha have already done some tracks, along with my faves Spooky. Wonder if this will catch on. Certainly seems pretty cool.

That could be good but there aren't a lot of options and the bitrate is very low.

Sounds like a mad-libs program.

To me, music is a story. A "choose your own adventure" story is in the kids section for a reason. Music is suppost to take the listener in, not the other way around. IMO...

I could be wrong, I'm just in a stressed out mood at the moment.
