Smoking ..umm..something grab yourself a big steaming helping of...

There is an interesting story to this piece...

I work in a local record store as house/trance/prog buyer. Well, shortly before I started there, a man came in and asked for some new song by some woman that my boss could not remember... so, there was nothing i could do. Then, a few months later, I was finally told that the artist was Anastacia. BUT, they couldn't remember what song. A few months later, I was finally able to speak to the customer and it turns out the song was, 'Left Outside Alone.' Now the question is: do you want the single or, a mix containing the song?

Well, he left it up to me... and this is what I came up with:

'Disco Biscuits and Jelly'

a trip back to the big floor.

a mix of disco, rocking-ass funky, and good pounding progressive house.

hope you enjoy

Your set is the reason I dont listen to a lot of disco house nowadays. This type of music is very hard to find in terms of quality. Sure theres tons of it, but nothing comes close to the track selections of Bob Sinclar, Ian Pooley, and Dimitri From Paris. Dont get me wrong you did the best job you could do with todays disco house, but its just not up to par with the bangin sets I use to listen to. Nice job with the set and good luck with your future endevours!

Another class set from you D. Pretty far from the stuff I normally listen to but that is actually great. It's a refreshing thing if I'm in the right mood. And, LOL, something about your sets are great for bloody video games. I had this one while playing Hitman: Blood Money on my XBox 360. Haha, idk just a great diversion for me. I'm not a connoisseur of this kind of stuff but the mixing was good and the energy was there. I even didn't really mind that mix of Tracking Treasure Down lol.

Thanks again D. Your always class.

stevieboy... i guess i tend to agree with you... the disco sound can be a little cheesy, but i think thats why i enjoy it from time to time. its got lots of energy and it always makes me smile. AND of all of the styles i spin, disco house is the only one i can play and its guaranteed to get heads bobbing, butts shaking and feet moving.

metatron... it makes happy to know my music seems to make you want to kill people. thats a compliment one does not often get... i do hope it is a compliment. really glad you enjoyed it. i have a few new mixes on the horizon that are a little more up your alley.
