[MEL] Tickled Pink #7 – It’s Our First Birthday!!

We were blown away by the massive support Tickled Pink received for it’s re-launch party last month, we want to take this opportunity to give a big thanks to everyone who came along and rocked out with us, you helped to make it an exceptional success.

Now that we are firmly settled in at Circus, it’s time to announce the details of June’s instalment which also happens to be a cause for a big celebration as it’s our first birthday. We are maintaining the momentum of last month with some new additions and we’re sure you’ll agree this is going to be large! This month we are receiving some very special birthday treats – we are being sponsored by the very funky label, ‘Grab’ and we also have Mike Callander, one of Melbourne’s most respected, upfront DJ’s joining us as our ‘Flavour of the Month’.

Mike Callander has been an established DJ in Melbourne for many years now and it’s thanks to him that the infamous techno/electro institution, ‘Fokus’, played such a prominent role in the Melbourne scene for so long. Fokus was his springboard to launch into a string of guest spots and residencies at Melbourne’s most rockin’ parties and a host of international gigs. He regularly appears at Honky Tonks and you may also have caught him supporting some big name DJ’s such as Kenny Larkin, Kevin Saunderson & Michael Mayer. Mike’s innovative approach in blending house, techno and electro made him an easy choice to join the Tickled Pink ladies for the night!!

The fantastic crew at Grab Clothing are our proud sponsors this month and are dressing us Tickled Pink ladies from head to toe. It will surely make us sexier and sassier than ever, so look out Melbourne! Three lucky people will also have the chance to choose one of the outfits worn by us, so don’t forget to sign up on the night to be in the running to win!

It’s all happening at the same time- last Friday of the month and at the same new place, so come on down to wish us a happy birthday, get your free lolly bag and party in Tickled Pink style!
