So....my job doesn't suck too much!

So i just got back from taking our 8th graders to Knott's Berry farm today. got paid to ride all the rides. got out of work yesterday at 11:45 am and then tomorrow i'm done at 10:30 am and then i'm off work for about 10 weeks. sometimes it doesn't suck to be a teacher.

not trying to rub it in, just f-ing excited that i'm getting my summer break. the kids have been wild this year and i'm exhausted.

so anyways, just thought i would share. oh and after work tomorrow we have our year end staff party with free adult beverages and let me just tell you..........teachers can drink! so i will be drunk, say way before noon since i'm done at 10:30

so now i can let loose and really party since i have all this time off

Also one more reason to become a professor as well... Always get those summers ! sounds really cool Sarah, hope to run into you sometime

All you have to do is talk from a book for 2 hours a day 3 days a week and give two exams a quarter!!! I hope I get RA instead of TA I could never teach a section

i accepted a temporary position with my job to work over in the office to do some administrative stuff. I got my own desk and computer and I am working directly with the Federal Security Director. Beats the hell out of looking through people's shit day in and day out.

I am here at the office for a month. I am stoked because I finally have Sat/Sun off. Downside is my shift is 630am-3pm. Ugh! I have been here for 3 hours and I have not done a single thing! Haha.

I have been listening to tunes on dancerecords/juno/4djsonly. I am getting paid $$ to browse tranceaddict. I think I have read every single thread just about. I have run out of shit to do and I have another 5 hours left.

i need to find something to do...

our office is above a Spectrum gym and my desk is directly above where they have the classes. They play all the fuckin dance anthems like "Insomnia" and shit. They bump it loud too! LOL.
