Is the test even necessary?

I genuinely feel bad for the other guy. For multiple reasons.

owned?

I think he was trying to live out his life in ignorance so as to treat the child as if it was his own, anyway, but the bitch of a mother went ahead and signed them up for Maury for some booze/fast food cash. I want to bust that sorry excuse for a woman/pig-beast in the face.

That does suck, but uhh... How the hell could he not have been questioning that from day one?

Edit: Yan ftw

That brings up an interesting point.

What would YOU (the reader of this post) do if you knew that it wasn't your child?

Posted by Omega_Blue on Jun-15-2006 07:30:

probably something along the lines of "WHAT THE FUCK DID YOU DO BITCH???" that's just some fucked up shit. i feel bad for the guy.

Posted by Sunsnail on Jun-15-2006 07:32:

He got really emotional omg

From day one? I wouldn't treat it as mine. I mean yeah, I'd help out, but my first thing would be to discuss it with her calmly, get a test done to confirm I'm not the father (for legal reasons), then get a divorce and make sure the real guy is going to be the one paying child support.

Yelling at her and calling her a bitch and such would only make the issue worse.

I can't believe the audience is laughing at that. I mean the skin tone is obviously questionable but if you trust and love your wife, you're gonna remain optimistic, right?

Posted by Rinster on Jun-15-2006 09:52:

the bitch deserves a bullet.

I don't understand why people would make these kind of confessions in a television show I mean, doesn't that dude even suspect that anything is wrong, when he's waiting in that studio?

Posted by nfekted on Jun-15-2006 12:49:

i agree nabistai. lol, i do feel sorry for this guy though. But would never agree to do something like this on tv. This is private stuff. the kid didn't look his either

Posted by nchs09 on Jun-15-2006 13:43:

BHAHAHAHHAHAHA

Posted by wizniz on Jun-15-2006 14:17:

wait... it was slightly questionable about the kid so that means...

he did have sex with her!

Posted by AlphaStarred on Jun-15-2006 14:27:

I used to watch that show, beats Jerry..

I asked myself the same question.

Do they know they're going to Maury, or do they only know they're going to a "TV show"?

+1

I've seen programs doing things as cruel as that before, and I admit I never watched them again - entertainment over someone's sorrow is not human.

Posted by Iyrlk on Jun-15-2006 14:57:

sure it may seem almost immoral to laugh but my god BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

why?

that guy knows full well he's in front of like thousands of people, if he had any balls he would never break down in front of all everyone. i didn't laugh at the situation, i just laughed at the guy's reaction. i'm sure he loves the kid and that he's hurt, but just why would you break down right there? he's like a big crybaby.
i think most men would just act normal, maybe swear a bit, then do the whole hurting when there aren't cameras.

i think it was a set up. the woman is a terrible actor. the guy was hilarious.

omg that sucks

Posted by Echo of Silence on Jun-15-2006 15:28:

Wow, that is soooooooo sad.

Posted by Protege on Jun-15-2006 16:05:

Me myself and Irene anyone?

"Their dicks are as big as them sausages"

But yeah how could he not know. The southerners being stupid is a stereotype for a reason apparently.

Posted by tubularbills on Jun-15-2006 16:06:

yeah, test not necesary. and honestly....the guy probably should have had *some* doubt in his mind.

but that still sucks ass what she did.

and you know what, even if the kid wasn't "mine" - if he meant that much to me, as it apparently did to this guy, i would want some kind of visitation/custody rights for him. i mean, if you have been raising this boy as your own....

guess it brings up the battle of nature vs nurture for consideration of what a "father/dad" is.

poor guy

ps, this is pretty tame for maury - he's usually borderline springer when it comes to this kind of stuff

when my friend had her baby he looked white but both the parents are black, then within some months he got darker

Posted by tribu on Jun-15-2006 16:12:

In my state, if you pay child support for a year, the baby is your financial responsibility, even if a later test shows that it is not yours

um u took that wrong, im saying maybe the guy didnt know because when he came out he was white, and then as he got darker it was gradual and he just got used to it, allowing him to be in denial of the whole thing
