Distance från Postdam to Berlin Centrum (Loveparade street)

Hi,

I got one question - I've found a relatively cheap hotel in Postdam in Berlin (Hotel Mercure Berlin Potsdam ) during the days for the Loveparade - is it far from the street where the Loveparade will be held, and if not, is it complicated to get there? If there is a map service on the web of Berlin I'd be greatful if you could share it with me...

40 km from potsdam to berlin

the hotel is near the main station of potsdam, so you can travel by train

Hey Laszlo, thx for the great Dance Valley videos

So if u have google earth you can look onto the places

Your Hotel (the Street, not direct the hotel): 52°23'39.05"N 13° 3'38.70"E
Potsdamer Train Station to Berlin: 52°23'29.65"N 13° 4'7.63"E
The "Siegessaule": 52°30'52.38"N 13°21'0.50"E

So you see it´s not complicated to drive with the train from your Hotel to Berlin-Tiergarten , the distance is 33,28 km

Yes it's me Glad you liked the vids Don't know yet if I'll be shooting anything from the Loveparade, haven't decided yet.

Which one do You mean exactly?
There are some hotels belonging to the Holiday Inn Group in Berlin!
Please let me know the address for telling You more details about the distance to the Tiergarten!

The last Loveparade was 2 years ago; this means that some people are burning to celebrate this event again!
So there will be a lot of people on the streets of Berlin!
In my opinion nearly one million people will bring Loveparade back to Berlin!

Some friends of mine will stay in Berlin the weekend as many others too!
Most of the visitors will only be there for the event without spending a night in a hotel!

There is no doubt in my mind that the parade will hit 1 million visitors mark...only god knows how many visitors Loveparade would have seen if the world cup finals were held the day before or after the parade
