Classic early 90s Acid/Techno/Trance set
I hope this won't be construed as spam, as it's in my interest to edify the majority of Trance listeners here who resent current Trance and are despairing, and to simply share my delight in this classic acid/techno set that really ought to be heard by anyone into that style. One of my favorite sets. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do..

Hi mr. Leaper. Just wanted to mention I listened to the first part of your set (before posting this mix actually), but the reason I didn't comment on it was because the majority of it wasn't my cup of tea (I mean most of the techno stuff, as good as it is in its own right, which I commend you for it). =) The ambient beginning was very agreeable, and the smidgen of acid you'd included was nice as well, wished there was more of it! ;-)
Btw, the Jammin Unit track is somewhat mislabeled, it should be B2 on Carrera EP - very nice vinyl btw, highly recommended.
I'll check out the 2nd part and will try and post some feedback..

Then I suppose this is exhortation enough for me to finally fucking record a set of my own. I hope you won't mind that it'll be more acid than techno, and probly a considerable amount of hardcorish acid...will be quite different from this one i'm sure, but hopefully up your alley as well. Will defo record it this month, no more procrastinating! |

i have a few early 90's tiga demos on tape that i might think of converting to mp3 if anyone is interested....
the mixing is total shit but some of the tracks are class.
I also have an orbital set recorded at a rave here in 94 using a vcr, but i have no vcr anymore

..then I'd heard it in the set and thought, this sounds damned famimliar. I'd have given the vinyl a 5 had Gregarious had acid in it..| quote: |
Go for it, man. Sets like these are desperately needed now that techno is getting more and more swallowed up by the minimal bandwagon. |
