Review: Beba Lounge 15.06.06.

- TA's makin' the night happen (what else is new?)

- Sydney Blu & Deko-za throwin' down old skool haus musik

- drink are practically free b4 midnight

- beba patio needs some drinks escorted from the local apartements (great idea shanny!!)

- and oh ya, Deko-ze is Ben apparently!!

Awsome to see a bunch of old faces again and meet a few new ones! Beba lounge is definately rockin' still on thursday nights!

Thx Sash for convincing me to come to see your wife spin and Max for the ride!

Anya + Kristina you ladies kept me going through the night!

WOOOOOOT!

Felt like doing something after my mid-term and this seemed to be the best option. Got there around 11ish, the place was fairly empty, except for the TAs on the floor.

Sydney's set was pretty good, but nothing grounbreaking. Was about to leave just before dekoze went on the decks, but am glad that I stayed longer, as I really enjoyed the tracks he dropped.

Highlights of the night:
- Dekoze = Ben
- Having 4 empty drink glasses beside me 15 minutes after arriving (thanks Vlad, Tyler and Ben)
- Me putting my ER20 earplugs in my pocket as the bouncer walks by, comes back to check what I have in my hand, starts walking away then turns around again to take a second look, walks about 2 meters and comes back again to ask what they are LOL

Good to see all the familiar faces, and meeting a couple new ones!

Great night out last night... TA representation was awesome as usual and it was a lot of fun listening to the old school house jams that take me back..

Here goes my review:

well what can i say.. it was really a last moment decision to come down... so i picked up cribby and we headed down to beba...

it was empty at first but soon began to pick up... met a bunch of new faces.. too many to list.. but nice meetin u all!!

danced my butt off for a bit.. but i began to feel so tired.. ...

sydneys set was awesome.. dekoze blew me away like always... i think this wasnt one of sydneys best sets (like the fkn unreal ones on saturday and sunday) but she chose a few great tracks... especially georges (hatiras') traxx... space invaders always a goodie..

hmm...i left at like 1:30 so I didnt stay until the end.. but I saw DeKoze spin for a bit.. and he got my ass shakin...

i made a video on my cam... but needless to say you cant see anything on it for shit..but you can hear the music!! which is always good!! .. and i finally realized you can sooo hear Sean Cassidy saying "wikked wikked" throughout this vid.. thats classic!!!.. his signature to dekoze spinning.. hahaha

i had a great time overall.. it was quite a relaxing night.. wish I could have danced more but I will rest up and dance tonight at TIL for Max Graham.. tee hee..

ya and id have to agree with you guys about this ben=dekoze thing what was happenin there? lol...thats hilarious.. lol..

I have yet to check out this place you call Beba. Screw Thursday nights in Windsor and working on Friday morning.

After riding my bike to the club and getting in no problem I had a nice little thursday evening excursion.

You are right it is infinitely better now that you cannot smoke inside beba.

The back patio is a nice little spot, Vlad and I are working on getting an appartment in the neighbouring buildings so that we can use a zipline to carry drinks down from the appartment to the patio since they wont let you bring your own outside.

It is a work in progress.

I had a great time. Stopped by for a few drinks and a lil dancing. Surprised at the TA turnout... we owned that dance floor. I was enjoying all the classics being dropped by Sydny & Deko-ze. Del & Co. showed up, that was a nice surprise. Happy birthday buddy!! I love that vid... all you hear is the music and Wikkid Wikkid!

Pretty good night, but definately not the best I've had at Beba. I loved the big turnout of TAs that decided to come...we should have taken a group photo! I was feeling sick and still decided to come out, and by the end of the night I was so drowsy The tunes were on and off for me. Apparently it was a "play your fav tunes" night for the deejays which I thought was really cool. Sydney Blu played some good stuff and I was REALLY happy + intrigued + WTF when she dropped one of my old favourite tunes...one which first got me into house music...

Afro Medusa - Pasilda

Pasilllldaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!! Wow...talk about dancing back in time lol. That was the highlight of my night. It got a little bit crowded and the heat really got to me this time, so for most of Deko-ze's set I stayed in the patio and stood. I really wanted to dance, but the vibe was dead, and Deko-ze played the most melancholy and sleepy tunes. He did play that Dance to my beat song...and I immediately thought of Kelly and how crazy she'd go. You missed out Kels!

Mona, after I woke up with Sydney this morning she told me that Jelo gave her a message to give to you: YOU SUCK!!!!

And for the record, I do not see the resemblence that Deko-ze = Ben LOL...Although I did find it hilarious...Silly Simon.

my review time

I finally popped my BeBa cherry last night, and have no regrets! Sasha, you were right, Sydney is just fucking awesome! and if I broke a foot at that time, it would be so worth it managed to catch the Lady herself at the end of my night, and thank her she's very very sweet!
