Dear friends,
Thank you! Thank you for supporting my journey to raise money for my 60K walk this September. Thank you for supporting the Princess Margaret Hospital. Thank you for recognizing that the fight against breast cancer continues. Thank you for your donations - your gift will help save lives. On May 12 at the Chinchilla Lounge I raised $650. Congrats to Jon who won the 50/50 draw and our generous sponsors who provided fabulous gifts. A special thanks to Sam at the Chinchilla Room who let us use their facility. We're having another fundraiser on June 24, which is during the jazz festival, so we'll be able to drink late! There will be another silent auction that night, so be sure to come to get great deals on fabulous items!
So far I've raised over $1000. I'm over half way to my minimum, and over a third of the way to my personal goal. I'm training like mad, walking far distances to different places in the city. It's not easy, but with the support of friends like you, I know I'll succeed.
And, believe it or now, my own mother, on May 27, was just diagnosed with breast cancer. She had a lumpectomy on June 5, and we're waiting to hear whether or not she'll have to undergo chemotherapy.
Thank you all for sharing your stories with me. I'll be keeping all of my donors, my mother, and my friend Aurora in mind, and in my heart, as I walk 60 kilometres for The Weekend to End Breast Cancer in Toronto, 2006. Without your generosity, none of this would be possible.
And as an added bonus, it's *~LiSa-LoO~* and Beach420's birthday celebration! Be sure to buy them lychee martinis!

I'm in!! As Caroline said I'll be celebrating my birthday (June 22nd) and I'll be in Toronto on Saturday to celebrate with all of you guys.
Hopefully you can all make it out to support Caroline and celebrate mine and Sarah's bday's with us!!

yoyo muzzybear big up on your walk much respect and support yo so many people deal with family members sick with cancer it's a very sad ordeal to see people in pain like that and go through all the kemo and radiation shit and taking so many pain killers that it messes them up a bit until one day you watch them take their last breath. yoyoy this is too deep
