In a league of their own!

Following on from recent discussions on this forum let me introduce you to the two greatest tracks of the modern club/dance ere, 88-2006'ish.
All who refuse to or indeed cannot accept how far ahead of anything in recent years these track are will be promptly be brought out onto the nearest ice sheet and clubbed like a baby seal.
That is all.

Thinking about my above post I have a feeling my words are more likely to antagonize people and less likely to get them to listen to these tracks with an open mind so allow me to rephrase please
Would you nice folks please listen to the above tracks a couple of times with an open mind
Many thanks in advance.

Well the reason I posted them is that fact that alot of people seem not to know about these tracks which I found a little shocking to be honest!
But hey maybe its just me showing me auld age
btw Iv just found the original video for New Orders Blue Monday, youtube is one excellent website.

Yeah... not to mention Stakker Humanoid, Chime, Out of Space, Injected With A Poison, Loaded, Not Forgotten, Go, Don't You Want Me, Activ8, Plastic Dreams, LFO, Fool's Gold, Step On, Move Any Mountain, We Call it Aciid, Dextrous, Trip to the Moon, On A Ragga Tip, Playing With Knives, You Got The Love, Even Better Than The Real Thing, Little Fluffy Clouds, What Time Is Love, Unfinished Sympathy, Radio Babylon, The House of God... and about a million others.

For my money, '88-'94 was the golden age of dance music.

There were things happening in Detroit and Miami that you should feel ashamed for not knowing about.

Damned whities.

I certainly have nothing against the music of today and hope people continue to push the boundaries its just that I think for some of the younger fellas on here they gotta realize that the stuff they are hearing and liking now should not only be judged against other stuff thats comming out now but against the very best that ever came out ie. the tracks I named above.
Thats just my views though and we all make up our own minds, I was just entering another point of view into the debate
So whatever your musical tastes, if it makes you feel good, then thats whats important and thats the bottom line.

Cheers.
