Togo - Switzerland (June 19th 2006) [Group G]

Togo vs. Switzerland in Dortmund!

This could be very entertaining, Togo plays pretty nice football and I like Barnetta in Switzerland very much.

Go Switzerland though

Posted by Sinus on Jun-18-2006 21:06:

The French better hope Togo beat Switzerland..

Posted by fastmp3 on Jun-18-2006 21:07:

i would love to see a draw

Allez le Togo!

Posted by luisjb82 on Jun-18-2006 21:07:

Switzerland 2-0

Posted by DarkFall01 on Jun-18-2006 21:33:

1-0 for Switzerland

Posted by noikeee on Jun-18-2006 21:59:

Switzerland isn't one of my favourite teams, but i really hope they beat Togo, only because they're fairly strong and that's what we need in the knockout stage.

I want to see switzerland and s.korea advance and this is a must win for switzerland.

Hopefully they will take care of business

TOGO.

Posted by noikeee on Jun-19-2006 08:49:

ok, right now, what i'm hoping for is the game to take place

prediction: swiss to win 3-0 as Togo doesn't enter the field

Posted by zoric on Jun-19-2006 10:09:

Didn't FIFA announce that they will play?

Posted by FCB_Fanatic on Jun-19-2006 10:36:

2-0 win for Switzerland

and than the final matches
Korea - Switzerland: 1-1
France - Togo: 1-0

and France eliminated because Korea scored more goals than them

Why can;t we skip this boring matches? Like they have a change at the tournament

(Togo should just keep Switzerland out of the way, although I feel the Swiss would do it by themselves anyway )

It's been a pretty cool first half.

Switzerland started out very well and played good because of how bad the Togo midfield was playing. There was so much space so they could simply go through very easily on the middle.

Otto Pfister made a good substitute to bring on Salifou, who has compromized the space in the middle. Bad tackle there at the end though, even though it was a little on ball, but mostly on legs

Nice goal by Switzerland to, great play from Wicky to Magning who played it in to Tranquillo who passed Frei, and 1-0. Switzerland has to use Togo's right and left flanks, they can cross a lot from there.

Mohammed Khader continues in great style after the Corea-game. He's fast, explosive and dangerous all the time. Adebayor has started good and a lot better than against South Corea.

They need to pass cross more into the middle to get a good game by Khader and Adebayor. Throughpasses is another great idea, because Khader is a lot faster than his opponents.

Great idea.. let's skip the matches of Holland as well, since they won't have much 'change' of winning this tournament either

I think every match deserves air time. They're all entertaining if you get into the strategy of it.

If people are just interested in scoring then perhaps they should watch American Football

In case the use of '' didn't make it obvious, note that I was being sarcastic

match was ok
frustrating to see Togo not be able to finish well on some good plays.

also Togo's coach looks alot like Dick Cheyney
