[Official] 2007 NYTA Snowboard Thread

HAHAHAHA Worrrd! nothing like starting a little early but fukk it right.. us true snowboarders know that even though sumemr is nice we long for snow as these months go by where we try to fill our voids by either skatboarding midtown or trying to surf to get through the days right??? (actually thats probably just me lol) yeah but anyway it's a new year and a new season (soon ) im splurging on myself this year and getting all new gear heres what i got so far:

Old Board: K2 HC Rally Sport 144, and a K2 Comet 156, some burton bindings, and Airwalk boots (I'm done with these i totally outgrew this shit, had'em since like 9th grade lol)

New Board: Burton Blunt 155

Up the ante.

The affordable, all-around freestyle prowess of the Blunt makes progression easy. The Blunts mellow flex and stable feel lets you have fun mastering the basics, while giving you the ollie-power and speed to build your bag of tricks. The best value in freestyle snowboards available, the bomber construction of the low-maintenance Blunt lets you focus on killing the park, not your cash flow.

Basically for boots n bindings im goin with all freestyle here, nothing great but i losing a lot of weight this year so come season time i should be straight and looking to maybe hit the park for a bit and just freeeeeee riiiiiiiiiide

I'm also looking at some new clothes too i'm lovin these goggles right here im a total supporter of Burton and Dragon

Anyone else missing the snow?

ps yo kidnyce sticky this shit we'll put slope openings and places that are cheap to stay. I'm hitting all of VT this year and already have some trips planned so please eveyone put up some pics, ideas, favorite resorts, your boards, anything lol..

peace!
LinX aka Ted.

This thread is too early lol!

But, since you created it, I guess you're taking responsibility of it right?

So that means the first post should include some good information for snowboarders and skiiers in the tri-state area. Post some of the lodges and informational sources. I'll contribute as I always do...

The money you save on gear you'd spend on gas, Sal

well I'm not sure what I want to do, I'm really diggin this short board but I eventually want to step it up to a 154-155, i think this season im gonna stick to the park so the 151 might ride alittle bit better. I might just bust out the 154-155 for free ride sessions but that won't happen until killington.

some note worthy events i forsee this winter

killington
jay peak
whiteface
mt hood (w/frost and bliss)
lake tahoe or park city again

probably big bear mtn or snow summit in cali during NYE.

Stay Tuned kids...
