Trance Arps - What do you use?

I use Cakewalk Sonar and I have been trying to find a good VST/DXi plugin for creating some really good trance style arps.

Can you recommend a plugin?

What tools do you guys use for your arps?

Thanks,

Adam

I would say, writing them your self is the best, in my opinion!

Now trance arps do you mean the actual sound or the rhythmic patterns? For me, I create the patterns and note progressions myself. For the actual sound, I tend to use something like v-station, albino, z3ta+ to me is too harsh and sticks out too much to use it, and sometimes superwave pro. V-station so far though is by far my favorite for leads. Albino for pads and really warm sounds.

This thread could get out of hand. You could name every synth ever made.
