definitely something i'd consider because

1) sactown pride!

2) 18+ (although u 21 year olds wont agree w/ me here hehe)

3) i did sort of like his latest essential mix

anyone else think this might be worth going to? whos that other guy?

oakenfold has been in sacto/greater sacto before. he was in folsom somewhere in like 01 or 02 cant remember. i say go even if he isn't the same oakie that we loved from back in 2001 days. at least you will have something to do that is close! and kenneth thomas i have heard of before and i hear he is pretty good. just go. its $25 which is cheap. i just paid $104 for armin on a thurs night and armin and atb on that sat night. and i might be going to menno right after till 10am for another $20 or more depending on when i buy it if i go.

If you're reading this KT, I really really hope to hear this. Of course I'll love whatever is played, but this song blows my mind. It reminds me that new music can have the magic and inspiration that it did in '99 and '00. I'm not sure how opening for a big name works so I'm not sure on if he gets dibs on playing the promo that you made or not!

If anybody from the east bay wants to get in on some carpool action, let me know. I'm coming up from south San Jose.

EDIT: be careful buying on groovetickets. It's $5 more if you are under 21, so make sure you are buying the right ticket for your age. The link in the first post is for the 18 ticket I think.

belive it or not that club used to book big dj's for awhile on tuesday nights(timo mass, tall paul, max graham) but for some reason most of the people in sacramento just don't value EDM...sad

but good to see, that sac is at least trying to make a comeback

yeah i agree. i am glad i dont live in sacto anymore. i miss a bunch of my friends but i love having pretty much every major dj here in la area.

I might go, it's only about an hour drive from where I live. I recognize the name DJ David X, he used to have a radio show on Sunday nights about 12 years that I always listened to.

in the original review thread you counted 23 wrecks in the 2 hours he showed up to play, which breaks down to a wreck every 5.2 min, which is basically wrecking every transition + ejecting the wrong cdj in the middle of greece 2000's build
