Smiley DJ [Review]Andy Moor, Ronski Speed, Mike Lord and Gil La

WOW WOW WOW!

What a Great night @ Spundae with Great Music.
After work on Saturday it was pretty much go go go to get Ready for Sundae. After picking up Sarah and getting ready at Mikes it was off to Spundae we went.

Mike started out his set right at 9 and warmed out the crowd real nicely. He started off a little proggy then went a little housey into funky electro right in to Prog Trance. By the end of his set the crowd was eating eat up. Awsome Job Mike

A little bit before 11 Andy Moor walks in. I go over to say hello and make sure everything is all right and he takes over the decks. He starts of a little "housey" Something that I wasn't expecting. But still really good. After his 3 track he goes in to the sounds that he is known and loved for. WOW. Amazing beautiful tunes flowed out of the speakers. WOW. I can not even begain to ID most of anything he played. But when he played "Calling"(off Leama and moor Common Ground, Someday and Air for Life(wich btw was markus Shulz edit of the track) I compleatly lost it.
Looking out in the crowd I could tell the everyone was having such a great time.

After Andy's set Ronski came on and the age old(well not really ) question was answerd. Ronski is taller then Andy... He threw down an awesome Trance set too. WOW. I went out side for a bit to cool off and chill with Friends and Andy. I do not think I laughed that hard in a really long time....

At 3 Gil Takes over and did not mess around at 1 bit. He unleashed a high energy trance set . He had the crowd still going strong.

I want to thank Spundae for well everything as well as those people who came out to support this event.

I will post my pictures soon!

Thank you for everyone that came out. Esp to Sarah and Julie and anyone else for making the pre-loler stop. Definately had a great time. Thanks to Spundae! Set will be up for download shortly.

although i was only at spundae for a couple of hours i had such a great time. Mike, your set, especially the last hour, was so great! you know i loved it by the amount of dancing i did! my hair had already turned into a big curly mess before i even left spundae but it was worth it

so great to see everyone especially lindsey, who i don't see enough. i had a great time dancing with all the lovely ladies: desiree and her girls, lindsey and her sister, michelle, monica and claudia, julie and many others.

michelle thank you so much for the ride and spundae and as always the good times. wish i could of stayed longer but it's lawler and i had to go. i left right as andy moor was coming on so this concludes my review.

I missed Mike Lord's set. Boooo on me. Andy Moor's set was OK, Ronski's was way better, but I think Gil OWNED! Gils's set kicked @SS!

Oh and you all missed some great tunes played by none other than DJ. WOODY! What a shame that only a few people were up stairs but whatever.... DJ WOODY always brings it!

i forgot he was even playing. no offense woody as i really like your sets but between andy and ronskii it was hard. andy was fucking HILARIOUS and even messed around with ronskii while he was spinning. and yes ronskii is WAYY taller than andy. hes like a whole head at least taller.

i had a really good time. got there at 10pm and saw michelle when i got to the front. got my ticket (thanks michelle! ) and went in.

mike was spinning and i was liking his set. was good. played a lot of stuff i have never heard and a few tracks i have heard. good set mike.

then andy came on and i really liked his set. kept dancing and had a blast. he played mostly stuff i have never heard and a few more popular tracks.

then ronskii came on and played a lot different. good set from what i heard which was about half of it since a bunch of us were just hanging with andy. ronskii is a nice guy too. he was just hanging out in the vip area to the side of the dj booth and while he was sitting there i got my shirt signed by him.

so then i left at 3am because i had a long drive ahead of me back to oceanside at my sisters and i was dead from dancing and hanging out with andy a bit. damn was i tired. more than i realized.

finally met desiree in person, and saw michelle, sara, mike, gil, and a few others i cant remember.

i wont be going out again till armin so i will see whoever is going to the armin nights (i am going to both. bought my hard tix already.) and maybe the menno after party.

Thanks to all the TA's that came out and stayed to the end. I heard great comments about Faded's set through the night. I got a preview of the recording yesterday and now i know why. Probably the best set i've ever heard from him. Of course Andy Moor & Ronski Speed kicked ass also!!! Thanks to Spundae, GVE & Sweet Candy Girl for having me!!!

Was all set to go to this. Had taken a shower, gotten dressed was on the way out the door, when I realized my roommate was gone and his car had blocked me in.

He didnt leave me his keys either.

What a crummy way to not go out.

Sigh
