Who is the greatest Trace producer?

Who do you think the greatest trance producer is. In my opinion, it can be no one other than M.I.K.E. Nobody comes close.

What do you think?

I dunno, Push comes pretty close...

man with no name
altitude
Red Jerry
Vincent De Moor

Personally I really rate Thrillseekers. They've done quite a few decent tunes and remixes.

Lange is also very good for trance.

Both make nice tunes, with nice melodies too.

the helstrips are ok, but they've never done anything too 'different' to the usual, which is why I don't think they're "that" great

Although this may be abit of a suprise but it has to be Smith & Pledger for me. Not only do they make good tunes there remixes are amazing aswell.

Back in the day, possibly BT and Paul Van Dyk, and especially together. Don't rate them on recent history though. You also have to mention Lieb.

I could have put a million quid on you saying that.

But he is a fantastic producer, who dosnt really get the credit he deserves either.

Posted by RapidFire on Jun-19-2006 19:04:

BT for trance.

William Orbit for electronic music overall.

Posted by Sinus on Jun-19-2006 19:28:

Lieb, with BT a close second.

its just because he is so far ahead of the rest of the lot
but If there is anyone that can come close to him that would be Man With No Name. Pure class producer.
