Is this for real...
If a company like Westpac are saying so then I guess
it sounds legit.....
but surely there must be a catch??
no business gives somethin away, particularly a bank
im not sure what to think

Well, I think the way it works is they give you a free ticket in exchange for you supplying them with details, which are then presumably used for advertising and demographic purposes. It's also probably got a lot to do with "youth-orientated product positioning" as they say on the Simpsons.
And it's not as though there are any big names coming out, and I certainly don't think it's going to be a big event (the Melbourne one's going to be held at Melbourne Uni for instance) so I don't think it's that big a deal.
But for free? Yeah, I might check it out.
I'll probly go.
The "e-ticket"
says: venue = Hi-Fi Bar
Do you have to be a student? I don't suppose they could tell if I lied eh?
^^ Haha, yeah, worth a try eh.
And Astroboy, the Hi-Fi Bar sounds a bit more reasonable (the one on Swanston St. yeah?). Anyway, I guess we'll see whether I emerge alive from Two Tribes first before I start thinking about this one......
