ROFL FUCK FUN.

tara had to strap on her dancing boots for jon jons set. tons of sick tunes.. i am pretty sure i know which track was "the secret weapon" you IM'd me about jon.. jeff killed it, had a good number of people dancing.. my houseaddict shirt threw everyone off who'd seen me before chris showed up..
i knew the bouncer & another guy inside from being a lifeguard, in fact the bouncer painted me a painting of a dj (fatboy slim) for taking some awful shifts for him.. i know i must've told everyone who was there this already.. Bobby (Orko) took a pic of it last time he was here so i'll post it tomorrow..
my dance is officially the humpty hump dance **MK APPROVED**
i like to steal peoples cameras & take pictures of the victim...
i was easily the main shitshow performance.. any other funny anecdotes of stupid shit i did be sure to share - i prolly don't remember it..

Great time tonight.

Jon played a wicked set, not his usual "tear the shit up" kind of tunes but I was digging it nonetheless. Great mixing, flow to get the night going. That was my first time hearing a full Button set(in a club) and he didnt let me down. Towards the end I was full on rocking out, good job dude.

As always, the company was lovely this evening. Great to see everyone including a few I havent seen in YEARS (Matt and Tara, a pleasure. At least I wasnt on a podium this time!bahah)Also, great to meet Brynne (word to sibling partiers!), Lillian and David (Im glad I finally figured out where I knew you from! im an amateur.)

Anyway, that was a great wednesday night. I enjoy partying midweek, we should do this more often as it's nice to be able to chat and chill.

Also how did my random wednesday night review become so long frig?

thank you everyone, and great job mr. rinaldo - you tweaked your sound just right to get the party started in fine fashion.

i hope nobody minded that i got bored with the sound i was playing about halfway through and decided to kick it into high gear... sure it was a wednesday, but i forget sometimes that us TA's just want t00ns. so i said fuck it with the original plan, and referred to the 'bombs' section of my collection.

as usual, craig david comes through in the clutch.

Fun times! Awesome tunes! A great mid-week party!

Nice makeover on Fez Batik - looking forward to going back there. Way nicer than it was before - much classier.

Great night out listening to some TA talent. And although I'm dead tired right now and really need my brain to function at work - it was worth it

As usual, always nice to meet frienly people and see some familar faces.

Will have to do it again next week and hopefully see a bigger turnout!

I agree, although TA definately did a good job in supporting jon and myself - this night is going to take a while to completely 'catch on'. Eventually, we hope for it to be a midweek (or hump day as mk calls it) destination for those who want to hear something different musically in a chill environment with good people.

I am going to do my best to keep things from going stale by switching up the lineups, combinations of dj's, etc. I will also try to give every dj a chance to play different time slots so they can completely showcase the different range of sounds they have to offer. For example, Jon really showed us lastnight he can play a room not only in the 'big room' atmosphere, but he also does a hell of a job warming up a night, dropping more sleazy, sexy shit.
