djdeals.com is not an authorized Pioneer dealer anymore. Which means if you buy CDJs from them you wont get Pioneer warranty.

If I were you I would go to AGIPRODJ.COM I havent ordered from them yet but everyone I talked to praises them. Good luck

just because you have money, doesnt mean you gotta blow it all.

Back on topic, i recommend calling the place rather than email them. YOu will probably get a better quote.

i am rly afraid of buying used ones.... u never know what kind of care someone gave them u know..... so trying to find cdj1000mk2's would be sweet.. but the mk3's are just to expensive
new that is.. so prob want the cdj800mk2

found a cdj1000 mk3 with a 1 year warranty for 1,049 +taxes.. a good deal?

well, if you're not gonna go full way with the 1000s, then, you should wonder...

why 800s? they're a bit expensive, they only have +/-.05% pitch increments. unless you plan to scratch with these, you could buy a pair of CDJ-200s. they've got a better pitch resolution, support MP3 just like the 800mk2, and cost somewhere around $320-$330US each. the only thing you don't get is vinyl mode.

mixer: look at small Eclers, perhaps. good price, solid fucking equipment. if not, you can always go Vestax PCV-275, just don't buy a Behringer.

headphones: i'd say........ stay the fuck away from the Pioneers. i love the sound on these, but they die a lot. a lot. a lot. some people have no problem with them whatsoever, then you get guys like Freak who is a very very seasoned DJ, nows how to treat his gear, and went through 6 pairs of the things in like a month. i'd recommend you make a 1 time buy, and go with either Sony MDR-V7506 or Sennheisers (check out the HD25 or the HD280). i own the Sonys, and... well, don't take my word for it, search if you want.

Check out the Pio DJM-400. It might be a little more than you want to spend, but with a ton of extra features on it it might be worth it. I have it paired with my 800 mk2s and it's a great combo.

Ebay, I got 2x CDJ800 MK2's for 870 from New York Via ebay faster and cheaper than I could have from the U.K where I live.

Found deals around 1000+ usually, think I got the best deal I could!

p.s had them stolen this morning out the car though : /
