Howdy Y'all! [aka. rabbitjoker takes the dakota's]

Green arrow = Mt. Rushmore. "A" = current location of rabbitjoker

HOWDY Y'ALL!

I hope all is well in the big-smoke, Tahrahna! I'm out on the homestead - back on the ranch!

After 2 days of travel (10 hours each day, planes, interstates and automobiles) I have finally reached my destination in the Black Hills of South Dakota. I'm at a mountain lodge resort and THANK GOD they have wifi!

I'll post some photos tomorrow once I have a chance to re-size and upload them! This part of the continent is BEAUTIFUL.

I hope everybody is well! Be safe!

The Dakotas are gorgeous - went out there horseback riding on the Montana/ND border one summer. Wrote an essay about it that got me into college entitled "John Wayne Never Rode a Farting Horse" which was a dialogue on the inaccuracies of fantasy and how reality, while sometimes embarassing and hard, is far more interesting than no hardship at all.

Yes, it really was about the farting, pain in the ass horse I got to ride because I put "intermediate" on my sheet rather than "beginner" like everyone else.

Oh, and watch out for low lying cacti - also a pain in the ass. But I assume RJ, being slightly native, knows this already - hence the RJ butt shakin' dance.

$3.09 USD @ 0.86243CDN per 1$ USD = 0.95 CDN/Litre

used to be that US gas prices were CHEAPER than Canada. Not the same price!

No Rushmore/crazy horse today... Typical mid-west summer weather: Severe thunderstorms/tornadoes.
