it's the best game ever.......... story line is great and they just keep adding to it sheer gold ... Resident Evil 2 is my favorite because of one sole premise:

The Desert Eagle. And the 10 inch barrel extension.

that was the longest RE game, despite all its flaws i still enjoyed it

Anyone remember talking to the police chief with the major`s darter dead on the table, and hes like "the zombies got her", you then find the little girl in the next room and come back, hes gone but left his diary, stating how hes going to hunt the majors darter down and kill her. That sent a shiver right up my spine.

I think the series are more oriented towards different aspects of the Survival Horror genre.

Silent Hill is more Horror-Survival while Resident Evil is more Survival-Horror.
