i remember senior year v. basketball... we were practicing..

and i jumped for the rebound.. and some taller guy jumped higher.. got it before me and put his elbows out... and turned to get anyone away from him....

needles to say.. i remember jumping for the ball...

then waking up with everyone on the team lookin @ me on the ground and i was like "DUDE WTF THIS IS PRACTICE!"

I don't know that it's the issue, just speculating, but it wouldn't be unheard of if that was the case.

Racial issues, especially ones that involve law, are sensitive as hell, and even if it seems like an answer or solution is clear cut, odds are someone will feel fucked in the end.

There's another video on CNN with an interview with the kid who got knocked out and his dad. It's from American Morning this morning. His dad's the one who released the tape to the media, after this happend 3 months ago and the DA refuses to move forward with charges.

Apparently, the kid was knocked out from the first punch, though the other kid continued beating him after he was unconscious
