Official Big Brother 7 thread.

Here it is for the 7th year starting tonight.
Who'll be watching it? I'm not a big fan but it reminds me of summer holidays now as its always on, and when I'm abroad I shall be reading about it everyday in the papers, without choice.
I've lost the tv guide so can anyone tell me when it starts? lol

We need a hottie with some real breasts this time.

Posted by chojin on May-18-2006 15:58:

i half dont want to watch it because its a waste of time and complete shit

i half do want to watch it because i want to join in the office gossip

no choice really..plus it's gonna dominate the papers.

Posted by Streakfury on May-18-2006 17:58:

To be fair, every year I say how bad it is and how I'm not going to watch it, and every year I can't wait to see who'll win it. So this year, I'm just gonna come out with it and admit that I'm going to watch it avidly from start to finish, destroying all hope of finishing uni with a good grade and reducing myself to the status of Official Bum. All for 15 weeks of glorious mind-numbing "entertainment".

Posted by George Smiley on May-18-2006 18:31:

7 years! 7 years and the only person I've seen yet who has been reduced to a quivvering wreck as the boos reigned in has been Vanessa!

God damn it! I absolutely despise the type of person who goes in Big Brother (count tonight how many of the lads are wearing blazers and jeans or a t-shirt with a scarf round their neck - fuckin tossers!) yet I shall watch it religiously knowing that for many of the pretentious wankers there lives will be completely riuned when they leave! The booings are the best bit as it suddenly dawns in the little ****s that instead of their belief in the house that everyone round the country thinks they are Gods they infact think you are a pathetic little twat!

So, should be a good few weeks of TV!

I will be watching the live launch show tonight. Let this year's freak show begin!

wots is name with the silly hat and tourettes should be fun to watch

Posted by isoterra on May-18-2006 21:59:

my summary:

bonnie - slag, grating voice
pete - hilarious, more in a 'laugh at' type way though
george - seems normal enough. looks like ben gold
shabaz - can fuck off, marco gone bollywood
lea - hideous, will probably be popular tho
mikey - cocky scouse twat, looks like vernon kay
imogen - yes yesy esyes!! most normal of the lot too, shame about the accent
glyn - twat, can tell he got bullied at school
richard - people like him make me feel homophobic
dawn - looks like a barrel of fun & laughs
grace - would get it, blatantly racks up the coke too
lisa - gobby irritating northern bint
sezar - blatantly got bullied at school also. looks like dj sammy
nikki - would also get it, bintlike but kinda cute

yes, it's a pathetic pikey show but i'll be watching it nonetheless. plus it helps you feel like a superior intellectual being... at least in comparison to the contestants

Posted by slinkyhead on May-18-2006 22:14:

nice women in it this year, immogen, grace and the one in last are all pretty tasty

don't really like any of the blokes, george seems okay, pete is a cock

Posted by Blakey on May-18-2006 22:16:

Imogen & Grace are stunning.

That Nikki is a complete plank, talk about shallow. That Pete could be a bit of a character later on in the show, could be amusing when hammered.

That Shebaz, Richard & Lisa are too high maintenance for my liking.

Looks like a camp asian Dracula

Posted by Streakfury on May-19-2006 10:30:

Except Dracula actually fancies women rather than looks like them.

The people I'll watch:

Hot.

Hot

Hot

Hot, but not as much as the others.

HOT!

lol, good enough to mention twice ay

i missed it last night, but if i have nothing better to do i might have a butchers tonight.

the paper filled me in on what happened last night though, cant believe people got booed GOING IN to the house.

Posted by spacetrain on May-19-2006 14:18:

lol she is what is wrong with this country - yeah all I want to do is meet a footballer and spend his credit card. what a joke. she might be nice but she has zero personality. but I would if someone put gaffer tape round her mouth.

They are all appaling - mad egotistical twats. However a mate of mine lives with a girl who is friends with that Imogen bird. oooooooooooo

I think she was acting, you'll see her get more intelligable while in the house.
She will be naturally ditzy anyway from her upbringing, so her act will go a long way.

Posted by swisstoni on May-20-2006 22:04:

my favourites are:

Pete, Lisa and Dawn (in that order)

Posted by George Smiley on May-21-2006 12:22:

I think Richard will win...

Posted by chojin on May-21-2006 12:27:

they blatently need to bung a surprise housemate in there....possibly victor or Ahkmed

(Y)

'BLUP BLUP, BRACE YOSELF'

'MUSCULAR....BLAH BLAH BLAH'

(Y) x 2

Posted by Streakfury on May-21-2006 16:04:

"I NEEEED... BOTTLED... WATER!!"

She wants it though. I'm not one for ditzy, but I'd make a very large exception.

Let me fix this for you:

"I NEEEED... *sniff* BOTTLED... *sniff* WATER!!" *nose whistle*

She's already been broken.
I find that funy, and theres already been 2 arguments ahaha

I would prefer big bro if they discouraged hate and fights and encouraged silly things, like a couple of years ago before they started this whole 'Mean Big Brother' style the housemates got that bored they became more fun and invented silly games that involved someone getting a sprain or similar, but not caring because they had that much fun.

Good ole days hey...

Yeh, i can remember in one of the earlier bb's when Bubble, was running from Bryan (I Think) and he clipped the side of the sofa, and took off through the air and landed nearly broke his leg, or something stupid like that.
That was pretty funny

Posted by Saka on May-21-2006 18:48:

In my honest opinion comedy beats drama, and if they got the housemates some incentives to have fun and mess about I reckon you'd get alot of it.

If they bung in "oh my god!" woman I will personally shoot myself and send the video in to Endomol.
