-- What are the best headphones??

Dunno What are the best headphones??

I'm in the market for headphones AGAIN. I wish I could get a damn pair that would last. A year ago I bought the Technics RP-DH1200's because I thought they looked and sounded better than the Sony 700's and they worked great until the left side cracked and then broke off. The same happened back when I had my Sony's but they lasted three years and the Technics only lasted one.

I'm looking for headphones that fit good and not just sound good but sound loud so I can hear them when I'm mixing somewhere where the system is really loud.

any recommendations??

Sony MDR-7506

or

Sony MDR-V6

they are effectively the same headphone.

or you could splurdge for the HD-25.

To decide between the two you'd have to test each one out and work out which is the best for you.

just go for sennheiser. sony are cheap shit, they break and look cheap. no matter what people say or what price they charge. leave electronic technology to the japanese sure but leave the germans or brits do the speakers. sennheiser are the only professional headphone manufacturer that speacialise in dj headphones.

um, no. while I HATE Sony in general, the 7506 and V6 are top notch cans.

i had v600s when i first started and the yare shit. the v6/7506 are in a different class.

show me proof that the v6/7506 has any history of breaking.

the sennheiser HD280s have more problems breaking than the v6/7506.

the 25sp is a lame attempt to get people who want the 25s but cant afford them.

1. hd280s dont get a look in as far as djing is concerned. you would obviouly go for the hd 25's. these do not break ..fact.

2. hd25 sp's are the best value professional headphones. they are not lame. they are very similar to the 25's but have slightly different drivers. the noise damping on the 25sp's are as good as the hd-25's. so what is wrong with them aprt from the two cords?
